  yes there is now, the new “extended connect” can connect over a single stream (as opposed to the whole connection) more here , the server has to support it though www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc7540#section-8.3

  For anyone who may face errors on connecting to postgres database using pgadmin just install dpage/pgadmin4:latest image instead of the one mentioned in video and also try container ip address or just in case of running on your server try you server ip address to resolve the containers ip address: docker inspect -f '{{.Name}} - {{.NetworkSettings.IPAddress }}' $(docker ps -aq)
