  If they wanted, add a road freight pilot and the shotgun stack if wanting to imitate a U.S. locomotive. Though it's not needed, due to the Porter built 7100 class.

  The Actual Mugen Train shown in the movie doesn't have Deflectors. AFAIK it was a version when JGR replaced Chain and Buffers coupling system with Janney.

  My dad bought one new and sold it a year later.The problem was the electronic gadgets.They did work most of the time.He bought a Silver Shadow and a 911 Turbo.He was much happier.

  the older one has a better windshield. the newer split-window does look better, but not as bug-protecting as that older style.

  The most beautiful car ever made in my opinion. But also one of the worst quality cars. Good luck if anything goes wrong with the dashboard. Many parts of it are not even produced or available. If dash fails, car must be scrapped.

  remember everybody was driving around in Mark2 Corrina's back in 1980! this car was space age, OK it didn't work properly but who cared, it looked outrageous!

  @@doubledee9675 No, they worked fine. Reviewers at the time were ancient 70 year olds who thought carburetors belonged on everything. Of course someone so distrustful of a pocket calculator would ridicule such an advanced car.

  This car is an embarrassment to a brand that otherwise has some remarkable designs. What is with all the exposed sealed beam lights, AND pop up lights? Blech. Terrible.

  Yes but it did save the company "just". 645 odd sold in its life time. Fantastic design that is slowly being appreciated good early ones are going up in price £80,000 touching £100,000.
