  This is a closed toll highway, we collect the ticket at entry and pay at exit and the toll charges are calculated on the distance travelled.

  Gin, what was the initial paper ticket you put in the toll machine booth? Can you not just arrive and put credit card at booth?

  For open tolled highway we can do that just swipe credit card and go, for closed toll highway take ticket at entry and pay toll at exit.

  @@zMYSTz some highways apparently don't give and you go immediately to step 2 which is use the debit card to pay contactless (I assume)

  When you pay with your credit card, can you get a receipt? I'm heading to France in November and I need receipts for my expense claim.
