Perfect for Cannibal Corpse, SFU, Belphegor. You should add more rifs with this guitar, I saw that is an item sold very well on Thomann, so had a lot of fans. I wish u all the best.

@bjornedvardsson5510 apples and oranges, this had a floating bridge, 2 pickups and a 25"5 scale, the esp being a 27" scale and hard tail with a coil tap so they both had their uses. If you're not wanting to go lower than A then the ibanez was fine anything else then the esp for sure.

I won't lie, this thing was heavy, heavier than my ec-1000. The lightest guitar I had in this lineup was the arrow black metal if you're looking into them at all.

Thank you! It was all a line 6 helix lt, had it running to a harley benton power amp and a marshall 2x12 - usually my cleans, leads and rhythms tend to have a similar signal chain as I like continuity between them all so the main things you're hearing are all the "wet" effects so chorus, delay, reverb. Cleans tend to have a multi voiced chorus, delay mid-low in the mix and a reverb higher up around 60-70% in the mix to give it a fuller sound. The same applies to the lead although I'll boost the lead with a driver before the amp and maybe an eq after to pull/push certain frequencies.

@Leo-mq3xb well you have to bare in mind the scale is 24.75" so detuning will require thicker strings and intonation adjustments, depends as well how low you want to tune. This has handled going down to B standard without any issues with 13-56 strings so you should be fine.

Thanks man. Rig wise this was fairly inexpensive, a line6 hd500x you get fairly affordable now, grab a harley benton power amp and a 1x12 cab and sorted. My old peavey vypyr was pretty decent as well and had a looper function with decent tones

Still a work in progress tone wise. The axe fx II isn't the most intuitive of devices so requires sitting down with the laptop for a few hours to hone something in, especially clean tones. Will try and get some vids done this weekend

I have the black metal M. It is a bit heavy. Not les paul heavy. But heavier than the average electric. Perhaps on par with the weigh of a strat. Im considering getting the V as well. Is the V heavy or light weight?

Thoughtful playing , pretty nice but that toane is freaking horrible my friend. Get yourself a decent tube amp like a PRS-MT15 if you like high gain but you’re probably more a DRRI with a dirt pedal kinda guy . whatever you do kill the digital sound. You are too good of a player to be sliced into 0s & 1s

Never had a problem with tuning stability at all! Was a little awkward when going for drop A, had to stick an extra spring in but other than that golden!

Curious is that neck same width lets say at the end of the 24 fret as your EC-1000 - For some reason it looks wider - thinking of getting one of these - is it easier or same to play and bend strings as your EC-1000 - I have 5 Ec-1000's and wondering what you think the difference is between both guitars - would you choose one over the other ? thanks much

I believe its practically the same, the only difference is its a neckthrough. It feels like a carbon cope of the ec-1000 in a tele format, one of the reasons I got it tbh, I did find strangely a semi lighter gauge worked better, for standard I would normally use 10-46 but on this I opted for 9.5-44
