We in the deluxe suite and the bathroom looks far better in your room. We have a square toilet, hate square toilets. And no space around sink for cosmetics.
Lovely friendly staff in this hotel and the lobby area is very welcoming. Unfortunately we stayed in the Deluxe room and it has inadequate drawer space and no shelf or vanity unit to put cosmetics in the bathroom. The toilet is very low down especially for larger Europeans. There is no sofa in the Suite as in this video. Shower is tiny for the size of bathroom, maybe OK if you are of small frame. Cupboard in room could be far larger for the price of the room. Horrible bamboo style unit in bathroom not fit for purpose and blocks area to wash hand basin (sink). I dont like square toilets. No table or chairs to eat room service as in this video.
we stayed in suite 708 a few years ago and it was exactly like in your description. But the suite we got this time (suite 1110) was very good, so it probably depends on which suite they’ll assign you. Maybe the next time you can ask in advance for a certain room number, that’s how we do it and that’s why we’re filming the room tours for KZread :)
How was the rooftop pool/bar lounge area?
They don’t have a rooftop pool. There’s a smaller indoor pool on the 10th floor and a big outdoor pool across the street 😊 search for Aqualuna Malta, it’s free for hotel guests. 👍 but the indoor pool is quite small, but on sunny and warm days I really recommend Aqualuna :)
