Merci.

In 1978 I went to my dad's work Christmas party in Albury NSW and Santa came. I was given the Heavy Breakdown Truck K-14, and to this day I can still remember how it felt in my hands. It was one of the best gifts I ever got and then lost when my parents split in '79 and we were sent to France to live with my mum and her family. I try to find them online now, but super rare and super expensive, and they probably won't be the same, so I'll keep the memories I think.

Great toys, my dad used to bring one home on payday, I’m 50 now, had a few of these and can see him now coming through the front door with it. He died 2 years ago, miss him terribly, but thank him greatly for the wonderful childhood I had. RIP Pops. 👍🏻

The Adventure 2000 Raider Command design was used within the 2000AD series Cursed Earth as Judge Dredd’s mobile command unit, called the Killdozer. I presume this was some sort of early product placement or sponsorship deal between Matchbox and Fleetway. I had the toy and years later recall reading the comic and wondering about the similarity.
