We live in the beautiful county of Hereford, UK, we have made the decision to start travelling with our family to see as much of the world as possible. We are your typical blended family with kids, dogs, a mortgage, work and close-knit family & friends.
Following a Stage 3 Cancer diagnosis for Mark in early 2021 we decided it was time for a change and to start experiencing life through a different lens. We decided to start sharing our journey of travel and we wanted to show that it can be done. To give the confidence to others who are thinking about taking the plunge into travelling with their families whilst maintaining education, work and family commitments.

    I love this Mark,........when I think about my Camino del Norte starting in July, its those conversations you mention that I'm looking forward to. While I love visiting the cities, its being in nature realigning our psyches with what nature intended that brings the joy!! BTW,....I meant to mention to you, that you seem no longer to have a passion for tractors,...what happened?? I should say that I'm a trail runner girl, with Injinji toe socks. Buen Camino. PennyXxx

    @@EverydayJourneysTV Gosh,...your videos inspired me to walk the Frances last year, which was fabulous. Regrettably, I found by day twenty myself and a number of fellow walkers got into a groove of starting each morning with Café con leche, a slice of tortilla and Napolitana de chocolate, then at the end of each day, an ice cream and a glass of beer,...OMG,...so extravagant. But watching you all pop into a pastry shop each morning before walking, set my experience;...but is was lovely! For the Norte I will start in Irun. Really cant wait to walk over the gorgeous beaches. Please remember to tell us all about your Albergue experiences. I don't intend to book in advance, so knowing where to head for good accommodation is most helpful. Enjoy the sunshine. PennyXxx

    Hey...you are going to have an amazing time. We booked ahead (Booking.com or by phoning them in advance). If you mention that you are travelling as a group with your kids they often separate you out into your own area. Do not panic if you do not book ahead, there are loads of options on the Camino Frances for places to stay 👍🏻 Just do not leave it to late in the day. Buen Camino

    im off to les houches next week cant wait! this is exactly the type of video i was looking for, i dont suppose you know if any of the local shops rent ski clothing my friend doesnt have any and we are hoping to rent some for him but its very hard to find out online

  • @EverydayJourneysTV
    @EverydayJourneysTV3 ай бұрын

    Hey there...thank you, glad you found it useful. We took all of our own clothing so in fairness didn't look for anything other than the ski gear. I didn't see any clothing hire tbh. If you are UK based then Mountain Warehouse do a good line of ski trousers and they are reduced currently. We actually have just returned from Les Houches last week and the weather was quite warm even up on the slopes and we wore layers on top half rather than thick ski coats. Suggest just a pair of trousers and socks and gloves needed. Also, if you get the chance and are staying in Les Houches itself then visit this patisserie (g.co/kgs/8JMxqEV ) great coffee and an amazing Houchard! Also, you may have seen this already, but there is a webcam up the top (www.seechamonix.com/webcams/prarion) Hope this helps and have an amazing time!

    Sorry to contradict you, but very very few Seville oranges are sent to Britain to make marmalade - and these come from the Alcazar gardens, not from the streets. Some sour streets oranges are used to feed goats, but the vast majority is used for compost and to produce gas or electricity. Some Seville buses run on gas produced from these oranges. And a tip for you : if a tapas bar in Seville serves paella, then it's not a real sevillan tapas bar - it may be OK, but it won't be the real thing. And trust me, the real thing is really good - so sad you missed it.
