OcryO State never should have been there in the first place. Or several of their players suspended at the least. OcheatO State is more like it. Right up there with the Cheatigan Wolverines.

Crazy to think this marked that last significant bowl win for USC till 2003 orange Bowl vs Iowa and was the last Major Bowl Game that Northwestern went too.

That *Roy Roundtree* catch at 1:15:49 was something else. Turned the game completely around with that catch, and boy did QB *Devin Gardner* need that play after what he'd been through on the fourth quarter of this game.

Refs tried. 1:06:30 there is NO way that is a safety when the RB has forward momentum to the 2 and gets pushed back and held up in the end zone. Joke of a call.

I was in Dallas on a business trip watching this game with a bunch a manic Texas people. They trashed me the entire game until that last minute. I don’t think I ever talked that much trash ever in my life. Free beers all night and the Texas folks gave up mad respect. Their quote “we gotta give it up to any team that plays a good football team”. For the rest of the week I was out there this game was replayed on ESPN classic at every bar and restaurant. Probably one the the greatest wins and feeling that came with it ever. #GoBlue 🏆

Old man lifelong Michigan fan here. Woody Hayes scared me a little when i was a boy. I thought that he was virtually satan. But as i aged, i came to see that he was a great man. An embodiment of noble values today in short supply. And yes, a humanitarian. May he RIP. Salute to Buckeye Nation. ....probly' the only complimenrary things i'll ever say about anything related to OSU....

I'm an alum. Title didn't age well, did it? That was the athletic department's motto when the scandal broke. It was bad enough that Paterno stayed too long. PSU football has never been the same since the scandal broke.

We went undefeated two years in a row, and lost the national title game as number one ranked, and I absolutely loved 86, undefeated again and Miami was so damn arrogant and blatantly disrespectful and we intercepted Testaverde 5 times and dominated their asses!!! The secondary was hitting them so hard they didn't want to go over the middle again!!!!! WE ARE

I was blessed growing up in Columbus in the 1970s. I had several occasions meeting Coach Hayes as kid. My Dad would take me to autograph signings with many of the Buckeyes at Agler Davidson sporting goods. I then later met Coach Hayes with Bob Hope at a function when my cousins band played for them. And finally in 1986 as a student at OSU in ROTC. He had an office there and I remember him opening up the doors each morning while he had his coffee. It was his last year. He was a God in Columbus and in the State of Ohio. Those were the best days of my life. God bless Woody!
