Videos from the band Cracker. Old and New. We are still missing a couple of the older ones just cause it's difficult to get the rights from record companies that don't exist anymore. Still most of them are here. New CD "Sunrise in the Land of Milk and Honey" out may 5th 2009. Check out new videos "Yalla Yalla" and "Turn on Tune in Drop out With Me". Both are getting pretty good airplay right now. On tour all 2009 and part of 2010. Check www.crackersoul.com/tourdates for shows near you.

One fine day, I thought so
On Christmas 1993 I remember getting Cracker’s Kerosene Hat on cassette. Loved every song. As I got older I fell off Cracker into other bands. Now I’m 41. Yesterday I bought Cracker’s ‘96 album The Golden Age for $8.99 at a used store. Still awesome stuff. Each song made me feel alive again and not so disenchanted with life. . Now I’m revisiting other parts of their catalog. This song reminds me of daydreaming, getting drunk on life’s beauty; just having fun and realizing your worth. I’m glad I slept on Cracker because now I bought myself more time to search real music instead of today’s stuff. And Cracker is a group of masters whenever it comes to instruments or the written word. Love them. Hope they stay around forever
Behold, Sandra Bernhard...
Rock ace harry vanderpool
I love this song.
YEAH
lucky bastard
So good.
Merry Christmas to all the Emilys out there.
Saw him last moth here in L.A. He played mostly songs from his last 2 or 3 releases. I didn't know the material and it was one of the most compelling shows. An oxymoron, but it was so blatantly authentic; this was such a treat. Thanks for posting.
Wtf, ftw dog
😅
Eclectic but great record that never got its due.
Incredible song from such a great album overall. Really harkens back to their best albums of the 90's. I only wish this song was LONGER!
I am pretty sure David was being ass and talking about something he never knew.
So cool.
Cracker! what a great song.
My favorite melancholy song
love you david
...ain't no palm trees, ain't no movie stars in the part of California I come from....
2023 … and this song is more relevant than ever
Many talk shi* about Bakersfield, but never have a clue. They just go off of what SoCal and NoCal people think of it. It's my hometown and I'm proud to be from there. This song is a stellar testimony to what Bako peeps know about our city in the San Joaquin Valley. Great shots of places that I frequented in my younger days. Thx Cracker!!
This is REAL & BAD ASS country music. Not that Luke Bryan and Morgan Wallen putrid 💩. 🤮😄
I love this song
Palmhenge is such a fantastic album!
Hickman has another classic riff with this one, he's one of the greatest!
Cool
I miss Brandy. She had such presence.
Glad you have enjoyed us in our Alaskan street tunnel and with a few seconds of the mysterious Kam Phoc our road manager who disappeared not long after this video was made he has 8 children in Korea but then one of his ex wives said he lies he's from Vietnam we did not care because he was terrific and tried to teach us these impossibly complicated card games that were either Korean or Vietnamese and when was upset with us he would he would say "Hickman an Lowery come down off you HIGH HOUSE!!" If we laughed he would knock our drinks from our hands and yell for the venue to get staff " BRING TOWELS FOR MY GUYS!!" Thanks for watching, Hicker.
Sounds like a fun and interesting character!! Did he have specific members he’d target with his alcoholic abuse? Harder on the guy who needed the drink I imagine 🤣 Thank you for sharing this fun story my man 🙏
All Her Favorite Fruit first? Ballsy...tough to follow that song up with anything...even some of the later masterpieces.
I guess it wasn't first...pretty dang close.
Jesus...I want to know how I missed the first couple songs...including a prayer to Jah
Love it all x 10,000. "All her favorite fruit" at 10:40 is over the top, you genius you!!!
big 6-0. I remember seeing david, johnny and bob rupe in 96' at 2 shows in nyc. Great Shows and Band ! Enjoy !
Almond Grove: I know you say not to cry but I couldn't help it.
Bradford Jones sure has an eye for a composition!
Fuck yes
So happy birthday so the funny thing is you're about 10 days older than me. So when I watch your videos every time I see the year on the video that's how old. i am. So when your first cracker CD came out somebody gave me your first CD as I was driving from Fort Lauderdale to Pittsburgh PA ever since then I have always listening to cracker music and camper van Beethoven on road trips
Make some new music!
Behind a green sheet of Glass-id.. A million miles, A million miles...
Great alt artist.
Great alt band.
I think the younger guy's voice messes it up. Did they bring him on thinking he would help the lead guy's aging voice?
"all her favorite fruit" one of my most favorite songs!
I'm a long haul trucker from the East Coast and I load produce out of the Central Valley going back east. People back at home are shocked when I tell them about the Central Valley they can't believe there's really a part of California like that.
Sometimes I wish I was catholic. I don't know why.
A real tour de force...this song paints a vivid picture that can't help but make you feel like you're right there in Bakersfield living the dream. Cracker has embraced a number of musical styles over the years, and performed them all with mastery!
From East Los Angeles to lake Los Angeles
Love that tele and steel
