I know this is an old video, but I'm trying to do a b18c swap on my 90 GS. Is it an easy plug and play swap? Never done a swap before so I don't really know what parts I would need. Also doing a manual swap
@Tracking_AroundАй бұрын
It was pretty much plug and play except for the ECU. I had my stock ECU chipped and then it was tuned with Chrome. I’m not sure about what’s needed for a manual swap.

You have to come out, Sonoma is awesome! Are you doing any events this summer? I’m hitting the road with the Integra and looking for potential events to visit.

@@Tracking_Around i may do an HPDE at NJMP lightning in september but otherwise mostly autocross. track is fast and fun but i've done so many days at all the local tracks that at least you get a new layout at each autocross.

Thanks Matt! It’s still kicking butt! I was considering some fortune auto 500 coilovers. I was wondering what you thought of them, and what spring rates you would go with?

@@Tracking_Around i had fortune autos on my rx8 actually. they are a nice budget setup. sure, i'd recommend them. on the rx8 they were good for smooth tracks, but as great for bumpy tracks and they lacked great droop travel. i have become increasingly a fan of compliance. i ran your integra with 6k/4k, then 8k/6k, then 10k/8k, then 12k/10k, and i think it was fastest and happiest with 10k/8k. that's a tad stiff, but it seemed to like it.

Thanks for the info. Do you have a suspension setup that you would recommend?

@@Tracking_Around I think you'd be happy trying fortune autos with 10k/8k. They recommend 12k/6k but that's kinda a wide spread. When I sold the car it had 12k/10k on those tokicos

Awesome lap dude! I need to learn more about how my (former) integra made it out to the west coast. I built that car from street car status and sold it to a local track guy. So happy to see it still kicking butt.

Hey Matt, hope you’re doing well! I shipped the car out to CA with me in 2018, then passed it on to the current owner earlier this year. It’s mostly unchanged from how I got it (still on the same shocks I think!) - glad to see it running strong out there.
