Again something new from Glen! Thanks for sharing these coins and the RA varieties. Cheers ✌🏻😊

Hello, nice coins. A big window into the world of history. Zinc coins were also used in our country. It is proof of the great scarcity of raw materials at that time. They are in demand among collectors. Thanks for the video. Have a nice day.
Thanks for sharing ❤❤

Thanks for sharing.Very interesting👍
Thank you for watching.
1914-1918…
184-205.
So it is like they minted zinc coins two times in the different periods. We are lucky as for me a Filipino and you as an Australian that our countries never mint zinc coins during World Wars. In the case of our country, our country only issued so-called “Mickey Mouse banknotes” where they are actually the banknotes issued by the Japanese in World War II. Nonetheless, zinc coins may corrode quickly compared to conventional ones.
You also had the local issue during WW2, as Australia is fairly segregated from most powers and has resources, there should be no need to issue coins in low quality metals.
i have a 1941 penny but it’s far more shiny then these coins, it’s like it’s made from a different material
Sounds like a cleaned coin.
Really appreciate your content. Do you have a video of old bank notes as well?
I have lots of videos on banknotes from different countries and time periods.

@@CorpusChristi264 Nope, Weimar era.
@@Gumardee_coins_and_banknotes Oh i see. Nazi is a Sucessor of Weimar i think...

So, you are using a loaf of bread as a reference for inflation. In the Philippines, a loaf of bread costs 40-75 piso for affordable ones nowadays. n the 1970s, it was only only around 3 piso to 6 piso.
@@cyrusmarikitph Ah inflation plus currency devaluation. Sad
Hi, I really like the beautiful coins. Thank you for the good tip to wait to buy until the Olympic fever has passed. Have a great day.
That is a very wise decision. Take care.

So, the quality of some coins minted were as the level as Indian coins of today.
Nothing is that bad, except Pakistan's coins.
Ah yes, stealing photos for scams. So this is blatant copyright infringement + scam.
@@cyrusmarikitph Do u want a set?. This time I will get some others to send overseas.
Looks like I’m off to Woolworths 😃👍.
Have fun! Cash is king.
@@Gumardee_coins_and_banknotes got back from Woolworths with five of these bad boys, I’m sure I will be frequenting woollies for a while. Haven’t got the new 50c yet 🥹.
Those look interesting with their colorization. I like when the different mints around the world add some color to their coins.
These are for circulation, I only know of Canada 25 cent and $2 coins that issued in colour for coins put into circulation.
I have it for sale
Those are very nice, I prefer the older ones with King Idris though.
They are nice. I also have them.
13:30 - I watched a documentary about migrants from Africa to Europe. Some of them cross to Morocco in order to get in Spain. So Spanish coin collectors would have more Moroccan coins in their collection.
