Great video Dave. Such a beautiful bike. 💙
So dave, when you fall off does that spray help with grazed knees too??? 😅
🤣🤣
Raddd!!!
Were those Tioga handlebars?.Had a set think thats what they were.
They're the ones that came with the frame..
So any background on this? Any details?
All I Know, I brought it over from the UK, and serial number is F6342823. I Believe re powdered, I'm not sure because the paint seems too good to be that old.
@@AlikatGuitars F for the production line. 6 for the year 1986. Are you sure about the “3”? If it’s 04 it would be April. 34 is either interpreted as 3 being March. The rest of the numbers are production sequence. This was made in Japan. Now one thing on that Epoch headset you have, it’s a “Race” headset. If you plan on running a gyro you need a freestyle headset. I’m saying this because the end of 1986 GT started using the gyro on the PFT. The Epoch was changed to shorter in stack up to accommodate the gyro upper plate. It is most likely repowder coated but it’s super nice. Good luck with the build!
Thanks for all that.. the headset was not necessarily for that I was just showing the GT parts I have, and ye it's difficult to read that digit.. I can send you a picture maybe you could work it out for me. The frame is up for sale at the moment. My email [email protected]
Made in Japan. The market is weird right now. How are the threads on the fork? Looks powdered to me.

I never got to own a Haro back in the 80s.. got a few of them now. Very iconic bikes..
Very cool behind the scenes look. Hopefully you can get some more of these filmed, they're great to see. I just ordered a yellow '57 Chevy.

Seems Chris never saw an obstacle clearly enough to fear it.😂
Take care Dave , hope you are on the mend .
Jeff Beck, Charlie Watts, and David Bowie. Three losses that still make me sad to think of.

2nd one .Honey Don't.
Love from Assam ❤❤❤
Every comment about Jeff is correct, but lets not forget the other 3 guys, they are phenomenal too.
the guitar sounds great , would love to see a bit more about its construction , my guess is that the top is still wood but made to look like aluminium (could still be an aluminium top screwed on top of a wood bottom but i dont think its would sound like that) same as the sides , thinks it has a solid center secion and hollwed out wings same as les pauls log guitar realy like the way it looks too just thinking out loud here : you could do a les paul style curved to by making les paul shaped rings rivited together , might even be able to make open rings and have them "cone" a bit by pulling the ends together the rings edges and rivit everything together to make the complete top , the layers and the coneshaping would make the whole thing incredibly rigit might make it hard to play too unless you step the edhes on the beadroller so there frenched intoo the next ring and use sunken in rivets but i think it would look nice
Hiya.. no the whole body is Aluminium, there are more pictures on the website Www.alikat.com.au
Thats a pretty neat guitar. No comments afer a day. You must have pissed someone off and got shadow banned. Nice playing.
Thanks Bud.. Na I find all my KZread stuff seems to be slow.. maybe one day I'll be a famous KZreadr 😁
Cool,!
I'll give you a history in guitar too. 400 yrs ago Gaspar Sanz set down lessons including chord changes, most of which are popular now. Gaspar Sanz had a baroque guitar with reenterant tuning. When the classical era came around, reenterant tune hit the skids because it didn't work as a classical instrument. When the guitar, again by itself, took the stage it had a bass as well as a treble. The classical people had a problem because romanticism required sustain, a bow over a strings. Guitars couldn't do that yet. So the next time guitars showed up they were playing the same chord changes as Gasper Sanz but different timing and most importantly with the bass they could support themselves.
Now the age pressed on and wanted sustain, which is a big thing with electric guitarists in the modern vernacular, but the distinct virtue of the guitar is that campanella effect, where passing over many string, allowing each to sound out you sound like bells. The banjo rools are most probably the closest. Because when guitar gave up reenterant tuning and accepted the bass, for country picking, it has to express itself differently but not lose its soul
And that's Why I'd listen to Darrel Higham any day of the week. m.kzread.info/dash/bejne/mKKruJtredWpnNI.html&pp=ygUOUm9kcmlnbyBnZW50aWw%3D
See the last part there was the villano, it's chord structure is DGDAD. I IV I V I.
I remember when blues was the big thing and I found Johnny Winter. Clapton all the rest could piss off, this was the real shit. But blues wasn't my love, I found that in rockabilly, and what Johnny Winters was to blues, Darrel Higham is to rockabilly. And that's what I love. People could play that stuff with their eyes closed, and yet it's no one else but them.
Whose here for Darrel Higham?
Glad to see these guys were able to get together for a live show, and that it's available for people to watch and re-live. Excellent.
Thank you. Don’t know why this popped up on my timeline but I have taken note of your advice. I will read the signs! Thank you and have a lovely Christmas from York, UK!
Thank you, sorry and glad it popped up, at the same time.. take care
One of the better Ted bands. Not like the ones who sound like punk rock.
I had the same as you but not as bad. I got a sharp pain in my chest to start of with,it went away then next weekend it came back sharper and i had to rest. Luckily for me i work for a medical company so i had access to nitrolingual spray and that made it disappear (so of) for a few hours. I continued working but it got worse so i call 999 and they sent me to hospital and i had a stent fitted. I only have 6 drugs to take a day/night , so i'm luckly, i have to take my meds for another 2months and then after 12 months of taking them i'm down to asprin and statins for like. The advice i can give is always take your meds - you will get through this - follow everything the Dr's say - avoid any Petrolium solvents they will interfer with the meds. - eat more fruit and chicken- buy something that makes you happy- I gave up alcohol and do more exercise ..there is a good video on KZread i do. I also wear a pulse monitoring watch - Garmin instinct 2 so i can see if my pulse goes too high or low ... Hope this helps.
If possible(its a big "if" based on the severity of ur personal health issues)....then pls try to get off the statins. Dont get me wrong, they do help alot but the side effects can sometimes be really detrimental to ones health. Now if ur not experiencing any of the side effects of statin use then praise the lord. I was put on statins by my doctor and it was a nightmare in terms of bad side effects for me to the extent that even my doctor admitted it. I had to make massive lifestyle changes inorder to get off the statins cos they still were helping me with my cardiovascular conditions but were doing so at the cost of really bad side-effects. Take care & God bless us all with lives we can say we've lived to the fullest.
@@3rdworldgwaming467 I don't have any side effects of taking statins. I do take them after 10pm as advised by other people in the same situation as myself. I know people who have had awful side effects from them and I totally understand anyone avoiding them.
Thats interesting to know.. thank you
Thank you for all that..really appreciate it
I have a doctors visit soon, I will be asking about this now
An aspirin a day helps thin the blood to prevent a blockage
It makes the blood cells less sticky, but can be dangerous for people with stomach bleeding issues.
Yes, amongst all the other tablets , I'm on a blood thinner and an aspirin a day..
Hi Dave, sorry to hear your story mate, but Im glad you're here to tell us to watch the signs, it could have been very different for you. I guess this is all part of getting older sadly. Keep yourself safe and well... All the best, Rod from Holly court.
Ive been lucky enough to have a pint with Jeff Beck and also met Daryl Higham. Both absolute gentlemen. This is note perfect to that first Gene Vincent L. P.
Oh wow.. how awesome
listening to this again, as its so good. A pity Darryl wasn't given the chance to show his lead guitar skills. Watch him with Imelda May...and it's worth checking out Dave Berry's 'My Baby Left Me' for session musician Jimmy Page's perfect solo.
Excelent!. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤘🏼🤘🏼
