  Felix- I bought this CD new at Tower Records. My routine was to browse the CD's looking for something interesting that I might like. That's how I ended up with this one. Needless to say I was quite happy I bought it. If it was remastered it could really sizzle, snap and the snare would crack etc. That said it's still one of my favorite random music purchases. This released in 1990(?) I think so 34 years ago 😳 unfortunately I ended up losing all my CD's and everything else I claimed to own. So grateful for the internet/youtube, helps keep me sane in a world that's gone off the rails. Good luck

  best song on the album in my opinion.. what a shame they lasted for such a small amount of time. Along with Shark Island they got overlooked in favor of Nirvana - absolute bullshit. We didnt need rock star heroes killing themselves - we needed folks to deliver great music and stick around for all the kids to idolize rather than start a several year streak of high school kids killing themselves.

  Elements of "Heaven's on Fire" by KISS could be mixed in with this track for a custom song. Friction is very rare indeed, the CD costing hundreds on Discogs. Surely a collector's items. Their other album, Un-Mastered, which are unreleased with that grating demo sound quality (can find them elsewhere on KZread). Spotify, nope, that Friction is a different artist and different genre.

  There is a 3rd version with an annoying, jangly keyboard fill in the pre-chorus that streams on spotify. This is the best version while the original is certanly listenable.
