  maybe it's different on pc, but playing on console by myself got boring fairly quickly (roughly 80 hours in). when I play War Thunder on console, it would've been boring had there not been a chat to read and talk in during the game. since enlisted (to my knowledge) doesn't have that, it makes it feel closer to like i'm playing a massive game with and against ai. this could easily be fixed by just playing with someone though

  Yea, Enlisted on PC has text chat, no team wide voice chat though. Only voice between party members, but everyone just uses discord. Cant even message people in game. If I cant contact someone on discord and I invite them, they have no idea what nation and tier I want to play at xD

  A.I in this game is really “otherworldly” - can’t hit a shit up close, yet snipe down enemies across the breath of the Mohave with ease

  I have never trusted the squad ai to do much of anything beyond telling them where to go, mainly because I'm on console and don't have many free button combos for giving those commands

  There's this Bridge in battle of Berlin, where we usually have capture points below it on the side in some sort small island in the middle of the river. The AI sometimes just go cross the bridge above rather than following you to swim below, this usually gets them instantly killed because there's usually a line of enemy MG up there.

  If it’s the Moltke bridge section I recall it sucking for both sides. If they haven’t changed the spawn, iirc you can just HE the attacker spawn

  I usually send my squad under artillery fire (if radio mans on the squad) and when 1 gets kia, i switch aggressive to passive to aggressive to wake the AI up and usually get 1-2 klls before they get got. If its a machine gun squad i put them in the bush and set them to aggressive while i am in front of them, so when the enemy fires at me, the AI fires back for cover. Long story short, the AI needs fixing like a major focus for a major update

  another tipp: if your looking around with one guy and see that the area is safe but your squad is lagging behinnd you can command a hold zone somewhere safe then switch to another squad member that is with the lagging group to check for any danger and if your first guy dies that you used to look around you know it isn't safe to go there and can go to another position. some of yall ain't readin all that

  I like enlisted I really do if you have not played before definitely get at it the reason you hear it's no.good anymore is because long time players got screwed in the major update combining campaigns, I preordered Tunisia and Stalingrad had premium benefits for doing so and lost a major preorder bonus because of it it also screwed up progression as a lot of us had to go back and unlock things from campaigns we did not play to be able to continue the work we did have while historically makes sense to advance that way it was frustrating

  My squad order is a keyboard button, but also on scroll wheel up. I just spin the wheel up to command quickly

  7:06 I use wide formation almost exclusively when crossing open ground. When I do a big flank to put a sneaky rally, I tend to keep them on passive til it's built so we don't give away our position. And if there is open ground but say a tank for cover I'll.put them in standard or close. I rarely use close as a rule because of mines, grenades, and stray tank shells.

  I will add a tip to formation wide is better if crossing open ground (so random tank shell doesn't take out the squad) close formation is better in QCB or inside building as the AI is stronger if guarding a rooms window and doors...kinda stronger tho. As far as I can see in costom servers the ai runs in a straight line and just swarms the objective they stop every few seconds and scans and aims for a targeted .

  i typicaly lead them close to an objective and then order them to attack it , they typicaly score a few kills , heck one time my ai cleared an entire squad which was comical , and only with bolt actions cause i play japan

  Have you noticed if the AI has machine guns they pick enemies off like mad especially if you’re prone? Helps if their perks are good.

  @@stevepirie8130 the ai is suprisingly accurate overall id say , its funny when they casualy turn around and pop some guy 200 meters away . i hope it gets better in the future and they become more deadly , and they are quite proficient at melee as well

  A useful tool to use while giving an order is using smoke to cevor the advance of the AI... I don't know why people don't use smoke

  Learnt that fast on Guadalcanal as Japan on that map you attack the trenches off the beach. Backpack squad leader, all smoke or WP and roll right forward or mortar smoke. I always dump an ammo box or two if I see a mortar dude. Quick message and ask nicely if he’ll smoke and mark where you want it. Quick rush can roll that cap fast.

  Because people are stupid and an item with 0 damage mean useless. This is the case with every Rush mode in any games. No one uses smoke

  4:20 - Have used it before, only works like 35% of the time. The rest of the time, they just get killed. AI tries to cook the grenade and then throw it is basically what occurs. Great guide, I enjoyed it! Looking forward to more content!

  paradivision told us to link the shoot button with the spot button together it kinda helps making my Ai face the right way sometimes. im pretty sure the safeist thing for my squad is to stay as far from the action as possible . I just wish they could take cover and support fire by command. AI IS JUST MEAT to shoot at! ...i still don't really understand why take 9 bot into battle if they all die in 30 seconds and I go back to redeploy screen anyway.

  @@evo4fun606 I can see its a difficult decision to make if the Ai gets too good it could brake the multi player or make it too difficult to fight against....but costom maps you can tell the AI cant see more then a 100 metres or so...

  after downloading the game today on steam and having a blast i would love to have a bit more competent ai just to make the shootouts more interesting , and id say that the game is a mix of heroes & generals and red orchestra

  I have played enlisted for 2 years now. It has had its ups and downs but when you look at the big picture it is a very good game. I think that there are people who dislike enlisted because its "not historically accurate", which it isnt, it was meant to be historically based, not accurate. This means that it will only use weapons and maps from ww2, but you will not see them in the same quantities as they were used historically, e.g. you will see a lot of STGs, federovs, FG 42s, stuff like those which where present in ww2, but in much smaller numbers compared to how frequently they are seen in enlisted battles. Also if you invest some more time in enlisted and start watching content creators. You will definately find vids that seem to portray enlisted as a horrible game, run by greedy devs etc. However dont let these videos tell you that the game is bad. It is quite good but problems in enlisted tend to get magnified to unjust sizes by the playerbase.

  @@evo4fun606 easy lol. COD 2, half life 2, timesplitters 3. All from that era and all EASILY better in terms of gameplay, animations and AI. Roughly 20 years ago game devs were smart enough to understand you should render the first person view model separately to have good animations and better gameplay. Enlisted devs can’t even figure that one out hence the clunky jittery mess we have. It’s clear you love the game looking at your channel. There’s nothing wrong with that and I don’t think the game isn’t fun, but it needs massive improvements and is so far behind games that came out decades ago. People like yourself calling it the “best FPS game” and not allowing any criticism are the reason the game will never improve and has retained the same poor quality since the closed alpha.

  Its metaphoricly. Its fps, free to play, greater than most, great graphics gameplay and stuff. Also more time to play. Its not the best but if you consider many factors together, if not the best one of the best
