Ridículo! porém, tem valor pelo “performance”, é o “castigo” para os japoneses que DISTORCEM de tudo em artes marciais do extrangeiro!… 🤣🤣🤣🤣😩

very atletic, but we will never see a soldier flying like this on a battle field..but in today's world we are far from BUBISHI dimmak and kyusho, it must look good.first okinawan karate was not sexy at all but it was deadly efficient.each blow was to take some out, Okinawan people were invaded by japanese and they had no right to get any weapons so their hands were highly trained and techniques were few but deadly, because when a samourai went on a house or a property to oppress and abuse people it was out of question he get out alive...consequence were to arsh..it was a feodal epoque.those okinawans skills came from different chinese groups who visited to trade teas, tea house were the place..

I am a Japanese martial artist. They insulted Japanese martial arts with their stupid and childish dances. I am trembling with anger.

@@valiantia I believe they are using a sword technique called Gumdo, which originates in Korea. The sword used commonly in this form is Ssangsoodo, which is very similar to a katana but has a few minor differences. On top of that, these are creative and extreme forms which are specifically created for choreography and handling. There are other categories that involve a more subtle use of the sword.

  • @valiantia

@@echo_animatesI understand that this could have been based on Kumud. However, in any case, it would be more beneficial to give up the childish, ridiculous and useless dances and learn the orthodox martial arts, and the Japanese would not ridicule them.

@@valiantia I understand where you are coming from, but just as I said before this is a certain division where they practice these choreographed forms more for showing their own potential. Gumdo is practiced generally much more traditionally- with focus on precision and the art of it. This is more of a subclass called creative and Xtreme that use all sorts of weapons in this way, such as the Bo staff and kamas. I can see why this is considered disgraceful to you, but know that this is not considered the standard for true swordsmanship, it is more of a challenging branch that is for show.

Lol, still a color belt, he changed his form every time so not to get bored. Everyone said that was crazy. He needed to perfect one form. It was about joy for him. Not winning per se. it was talent and joy.

And from the Indiana Jones movie, the baddie pulls out a pistol and shots them in the chest. Actually very well done. More like dancing rather than a Martial art, but I still wouldn't like to try to fight on of them with a sword

I have no problem with extreme weapons. However, maintain some discipline. I don't care about realism that much but, with bladed weapons, at least lead with the sharpened end. Half the swings look like the sword would break if it came into contact because they're slicing sideways.

We need people like this to patrol bad neighborhoods at night. That would take care of the criminals. Better then any other form of security. Unless you have a tank to patrol in.

An opponent would'nt have just stood their watching you. The opponent ain't dumb. However, as a traditional kenjutsu high expert, who's surpassed the whole kendo school, will recognize those sword spins. I suggest they never use such tricks in a REAL FIGHT or DUEL with a someone who had extreme knowledge and skill of the way of the sword. Because as they are busy trying to perfectly catch the spinning sword, the opponent might claim theirself a body part. Those skills on thr other hand, enhance your grib, use, and even to make the sword an extension of their body. Once you have achieved that, you gotta be serious.

    1) I don't know what those arm moves are, but they are definatly not from Taekwondo. 2) shouting is usually done WHILE doing or parry a forcefull strike to put all the power in the strike... what is all the shouting befor starting and after finishing movement?!? I guess they just don't get the concept. 3) it is fast and acrobaticly nice... but the moves are all so unclean. Also ALL the arm movements are useless🤷‍♂️. With arm strikes it does not matter, unless that suppose to be Taekwondo, main strikes come from the legs anyway... but the Blocks?!? Those are awfull performed, no matter what martial Art style they have learned... those Blocks are just useless. Btw the piorettes and flips are nice, but the kicks at the end of them are very unclean performed as well... if hitting somebody that way you more likely to injure yourself (without much doing of the opponent) than the opponent. After all... it might be nice to watch... but is is basicly floor exercise gymnasics in a Gi.
