"The first thing I did was hit all sides with a DA pad" HUH? Why use acronyms? If you are reaching an audience to inform use the entire word.
Doesn't matter how pretty you make the weld, its trash if there is no penetration. I seen more stack of dime welds fail while the bird shit welds been holding on forever.
You try the g5-02 yet?
Just noticed your recent post. I have been using Speedglas for Years they are great.
Awesome thanks for the information it was a great video

Would one of these large furick cups help me to reach my tungsten down into a 15 deg, coped, pipe fit up? I’ve got a project coming up and want to have the best setup possible.
Thank you that was very helpful !!

Good job. What size wire did you use?
nice... the guy draws out the method but the editor just cuts to video of welding so we don't get to see it.
thank you for this info but the titel says: What color TIG welding Tungsten should you use from the 9 different colors you explained only 8 and not said what color should be used for what material to weld. great that you said if AC or DC or both and also if transformator or inverter
It's just like welding aluminum. At list this is how I do it but much much faster
🎉how much the current and argon outside ,and much the argon gas to purging 16 guage stainless tube
Mmm... Weld inclusion, Yuck, you wouldn't get away with that pus in Aus standards bud
buying my first tig welder in two weeks cant wait to get going on the basics but i really cant wait for the exciting stuff like this!!!

Just here for the “don’t ever do this in real life” comments.
Hey nice video man!! What sanding belt did you use??
STOP DOING THAT WITH YOUR HANDS. GAY AS FK
How do I bend the bracket?
The size of the cup in AC aluminum especially is dictated by amperage. the more anps the wider the cup and of course more flow in relation to the cup diameter.
I watched a video on grind profiles just prior to yours and couldn't tell the difference by looking at their camera footage so I kept looking...found yours and YES, I get it now! The dry-erase sketches really helped reiterate the lesson. Thank you!
Wow, thats some beautiful welds. Time to test !
What grid did you use on your belt sander? Thanks and keep the good work up
Beautifully shot video. Always interesting to hear what others do that works for them.
I use a george fischer cutter, size 8 cup. Everything else is secret 😂
