"The first thing I did was hit all sides with a DA pad" HUH? Why use acronyms? If you are reaching an audience to inform use the entire word.

Doesn't matter how pretty you make the weld, its trash if there is no penetration. I seen more stack of dime welds fail while the bird shit welds been holding on forever.

Would one of these large furick cups help me to reach my tungsten down into a 15 deg, coped, pipe fit up? I’ve got a project coming up and want to have the best setup possible.

thank you for this info but the titel says: What color TIG welding Tungsten should you use from the 9 different colors you explained only 8 and not said what color should be used for what material to weld. great that you said if AC or DC or both and also if transformator or inverter

The size of the cup in AC aluminum especially is dictated by amperage. the more anps the wider the cup and of course more flow in relation to the cup diameter.

I watched a video on grind profiles just prior to yours and couldn't tell the difference by looking at their camera footage so I kept looking...found yours and YES, I get it now! The dry-erase sketches really helped reiterate the lesson. Thank you!
