  I have been a customer of Monitronics since 2014. On 4/15/24, I opened a window without disarming the system and quickly turned it off. I did not receive a call from Monitronics through my system/box or on the phone. The fire dept was dispatched to my home. They checked the box-nothing wrong. I contacted Monitronics, verified my code word. I inquired as to why they didn’t contact me. They called my sisters on the phone-no answer. I was told they did not have my name or phone number in the system but they had an email address. I looked in my email-no attempt to contact me was made. I inquired about cancelling my services and was told 4/23, I negotiated a better rate and new contact extending me to 4/24. I called back 6/23 for a better rate which cancelled out the 4/24 contract which extended me to 6/25. Long story short they cancelled the payment amount but are making me extend 24mos instead of 12. Their payment is auto drafted from my bank account, but they don’t know who I am or my phone number!!! I don’t feel secure!!! BEWARE-GET A DIFFERENT COMPANY!

  Why would the panel display a low battery (and beep in a very disruptive way) after a power outage? Isn't the whole purpose of a battery that the system should work (at least for a reasonable amount of time) even if the power goes out?

  Sub-disarm is if you have 24/7 sensors. It will disarm the 24/7 zones To exit sub-disarm, just click disarm. You won’t have to put in the code. To sub-disarm it again, put the code in while it’s disarmed
