Aww, thank you! I love adding a chart or two - it steps it up a notch, and I love mixing media forms on a project, whether it is technically a "mixed media" project or not.
Those markers do some great shading! Both tags are just so stinkin’ cute!
Thank you so much!! I do love these markers. I was watching your struggle while coloring the snowman/men. The medium does matter - I didn't believe that in the beginning - and if you are using markers the tip definitely matters as well! Brush nib is the best, imo.

I love these Nancy. Your tag is adorable, I love the little fringe on the bottom. I really love your aluminum foil backgrounds on your cards, it makes them look fancy-more elegant. I love snowmen and the stamp with the dog is just precious. We had a couple of somewhat cooler days last week, but then it got hot again. I just looked on the weather channel and we are under another heat advisory. Actually that’s better than the excessive heat warning we’ve been having. I’m hoping you get some relief too.
I am feeling some relief, for sure. Thank you. We have transitioned to severe thunderstorms now. Power and internet outages, thunder, lightening, wind, torrents of rain..all the suspects...

I think so too! I've had such fun over the past couple of years using tin foil in the craft room. Just be sure your medium will adhere to non-porous surfaces and you should be good to go. Have fun!

Oh, my goodness! I am so sorry. We actually had a bit of a reprieve from the extreme heat today. Still caused me respiratory distress when I went out today, but definitely better. I am glad you can stay inside, safe and cool.
Where in Northern California do you live Marcy? I live in Sacramento (actually Elk Grove just south of Sacramento). When you said way above normal I was wondering where you live because where I live it’s been in the triple digits for weeks. It’s always hot here in the summer though.
@@lisadelong1455 hi Lisa! 👋. Yes, the Sacramento area is hot in the summer for sure. My coworker’s son lives in Elk Grove. I live closer to the coast in the north bay, Santa Rosa. We usually have a few days of triple digits, but this year it’s been more than that 🥵
@@MarcyM_ We’re almost neighbors. Lol. I was in your area in June. Stayed a week in Bodega Bay then went down to Stinson Beach area. It was really chilly in Bodega when it was simmering hot here. It was weird packing winter clothes in the summer. Lol

I love your witchy garland. The idea of putting the witch ephemera with the cheese cloth on the rosettes is an awesome idea. I love the rosettes you made too. I think I might try making one of these garlands, just have to search through my stash for the right ephemera. The little creepy girl ephemera that you showed with the notched corners, you could color them with your Olo markers again, they would look amazing. I’m lovin seeing all these different projects that you’re trying out. So fun. I’m so sick of the triple digit weather, it just doesn’t give us a break. You probably have high humidity with your heat? We don’t have that problem, but it’s still freakin hot!
Thank you, my dear. It was a fun one to put together, especially since all of the pieces were pretty much done in advance of the actual construction of the garland. I think any ephemera would work, to be honest. Maybe choose your papers and color your ephemera to coordinate? I am thinking about coloring the notched corner tags with the OLO's. The details are much tinier on these, so I'm not sure, but definitely considering it. I'm having fun playing with new to me mediums and projects. Way back when I did all sorts of things but stopped because we moved into a small apartment and I didn't have the space. I'm still in an apartment, but have more space now. As for the heat - oh my gosh, ,girl! The humidity is AWful! I have been having so much respiratory distress this week! I'm eager for this wave to move on out! I hope you are ok.
My friend you are winging it so good. I absolutely love your ghost and skeleton sticks. That skeleton face is to “die” for. Lol. I love the big buttons for the eyes. I really need to teach myself how to sew on my machine too. I bought a brand new Singer with lots of fancy stitches 10 years ago and I still haven’t used it. If I could just get it threaded I think I could wing it too. As for the bigger piece, could you make it into some kind of creepy pillow? Also I wonder if you could let the Sherpa sit in alcohol ink or re-inkers? I guess the what if’s are endless and I know you will come up with some fantastic ideas, you always do. I loved seeing those amazing tags again. I bet you would really grieve if you gave those away. Lol.
Aww, thank you so much! I've always been pretty gifted with the ability to see a project and reverse engineer it - crafty projects, that is - nothing major. I Googled prim ghosts, etc. and made my projects based on what I saw. I have several more options in my head. I think if I used reinkers the pigment might wear off on my hands, etc. because they are water reactive. So imagine it's a pillow and you sweat laying on it, that sweat will reactivate the ink and you'll walk away with an inky head/face. Alcohol inks, I think you'd need too much to make a difference - unless you used another liquid to actually soak the fabric - not sure what that liquid would be...
Fun haul Nancy! Love the faux leather that you may use on journals. That bat is really scary. Really like those rusty bells. Look forward to how you use them!

It’s interesting that the markers don’t smear over the mod podge! And a happy accident that they printed funny! I also think the one you colored with us looks like Helena Bonham Carter 😅. These were so cool! tFS! 💜
Haha! Thank you! If you added alcohol to the ink it'd definitely reactivate and smear/smudge, but once dry, it's dry. It's pretty cool.
