  Aarohi Sudan I hope you found your answer but if not, I found the best way was to forget everything you know about Cardcaptor sakura and just pretend they are totally new characters. It made it way less confusing for me.

  Aarohi Sudan This is a completely different story to Cardcaptor Sakura and despite characters with the same name the characters are totally different people! XXX Holic is during the same time as Tsubasa. I think reading the manga would make things a lot less confusing than the anime as the anime skips some parts out when it goes to the OVAs. Therefore you can watch them in any order. If you want to read the manga then you should read both XXX Holic and Tsubasa because they cross over and there is a deeper story involving both 'parties'. I hope that helps if you still haven't found your answer.
