  Dear sister Louise, whenever a new song comes out by the nycyp I always go to your responses because I enjoy your response as much as the video! The entire Bible is a book of romance where God has been courting His chosen people, first Israel then His New Testament believers, the church. The end of the book of revelation culminates in a most glorious wedding between His bride the New Jerusalem and our wonderful Christ. The New Jerusalem is a living composition of all the saints redeemed by God throughout all generations. It is the bride of Christ as His counterpart. In both the Old Testament and the New Testament, God likens His chosen people to a spouse. I’m sure someone else can expound on this but I was touched by your inquisition of the church being the bride of Christ and just wanted to say a little something. Praise the Lord dear sister!

  Hello sister Teresa, I am extremely grateful for your very kind and wise compliment. Your words mean the world to me. As you may know, I have been here commenting for about two years. It all began with "There is a Great Mystery " (my first song ever to hear by nycyp and much beloved by me). I have learned much and come far in 2 years. Being a Methodist for 74 years, the Lord's Recovery has been a new experience which I dearly enjoy learning more about. Having said all that, I was aware of the body of Believers being the Bride of Christ in preparation for His glorious return. You did explain it, however, in the most beautiful and tender words. Thank you. My confusion comes from connecting Psalm 45 to the Bride of Christ. I did research on Psalm 45 and found varying opinions. One said it is the most bizarre and mysterious composition in the book of Psalms. This I still don't understand clearly. Again, I deeply appreciate your comments.   ✝️🌟🌿 This is a simple and sweet song of love and affection for our Lord Jesus. Most of the Psalms were penned by King David, but this one was written by the sons of Korach on the occasion of a wedding of their king. Some have referenced the "Bride" as symbolic to the Church being the Bride of Christ. I admit I am confused and would welcome more explanation for understanding. Psalm 45: 1 NIV My heart is stirred by a noble theme as I write my verses for the King; my tongue is the pen of a skillful writer. This scriptural song is on "Just As I Am," the 2018 album. All 13 songs have become favorites of mine. (Yes, I have said that before about 50 times), What can I say? All NYC Young People songs are treasured by me. I look forward to their next new album. Thank you, NYCYP, for the beautiful images in the video. Perfect for this song. ✝️

  ✝️🎶💕 Isaiah 40 is one of my favorite books and chapter of the Bible....perhaps my favorite. It's beautifully written like poetry. We were not created for living on earth to enjoy only earthly experiences. This life on earth is temporary and passes away. Thankfully we who live in Christ Jesus have greater joys to come- reigning with Jesus in Glory. Isaiah 40: 6-8 A voice says, "Cry out." And I said, "What shall I cry?" "All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field. The grass withers and the flowers fall, because the breath of the Lord blows on them. Surely the people are grass. The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever." Isaiah 40: 28-31 Do you not know?' Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; They will run and not grow weary, They will walk and not be faint. ***The video images are stunning and the voices of the dear NYC Young People are always so sweet in harmony. This is a wonderful scriptural song, "Jesus Is Mine", on the "Steal Me Away" album. It was so well done during the worst of times-- the Covid pandemic! Praise the Lord for He is Good! Amen.🦋
