Hi, can you advise a replacement or alternative for polaroid type 100 film for me?
@spudric668316 күн бұрын
Have you noticed any differences with the type of film that you use? For instance, I’m using 600 but I also have an SX 70 and was wondering if there’s any differences in how you would do the process

I have this camera, but the little light won't turn on. It also hasn't been used in a long time. Will putting a new film cartridge fix that?

I bought my Polaroid One step 2 used. I need help… it doesn’t release the protective film ever. The first 2 pictures always come out overexposed from the top half. How do I add a protective shield? Maybe it’s broken? Thank you

@10:10 in the video, please be aware that there are after-market electronic flashbars made by MINT and other parties. I own a couple of them, and they work as designed.

Is it just me or did anyone else actually know this, but still went looking for a battery and made yourself feel real stupid 😅😅😅 After watching your video I remembered my grandpa telling me about this when I was younger and just a few minutes ago my older brother pulled out one of my Polaroids and was asking if it worked, I had just figured it was too old or something this whole time. Don't think I'd ever thought to get new film, at least until now 😅🤦 thank you, sincerely 🙏

I know this is an old video but man, what a great tutorial! I was able to make the double exposure device no problem, thank you! The question I have is, how do you avoid light leaks using this?? I’ve tried it twice now and both times I have massive light leaks from the stick side of the film. I even tried painting the stick black and still I get tons of light leaking in. Any tips??

I have the same issue, massive light leaks no matter what I do. Think the only option is to go into a pitch black room or use like a darkroom bag when putting in or removing the tool. Gonna try that and see if I have any luck. Let me know if you fixed this though

You got to be kidding, Instax film is much better than Polaroid. It has stronger colours, better contrast, is sharper and develops much quicker. Plus Polaroid film can be unreliable, sometimes you'll get colour banding on the photo or parts of the photo undeveloped with areas just covered by a brown tinge.

Does it really matter with the new 600 film that you get in in the dark asap? I’m really anal about getting the pic into a pocket or dark room and I’m wondering if people have ever done a side by side comparison to a pic developed in pure light and a pic developed in a pocket. Thanks !
