Loved it. It's like a mix of a jointer with a disc sander. I have a Bosch roto-orbital sander that looks perfect for this project. TY for sharing.

Haha, just noticed you are plunging with one finger. I am amazed at the mechanical advantage and now realize I don’t understand levers much. Can’t wait to build this.

Made it thru the series. I think I’m ready. I love how intuitive the design is and how it clamps and drills with the same motion. So productive. I’m gonna have to avoid the temptation to make it too pretty. I will be adding a switch so that it can stay plugged in and not be on.

Bearings have numbers on them people, so the standards in their use are universal. 'These little bearings' tells us diddly squat of the size in engineering terms!!

Man o man I have watched at least 6 different versions of DIY drum sanders. Most of which were brilliant but none of them is a simple and innovative as yours, the simplicity of the height adjustment is just brilliant. The minimum of materials it’s the second cheapest( least expensive) get yourself a beer on me!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

So on my truck I could remove the tail gate and mount some clips inside the bed of the truck im good to go hmmm worth a shot at it for sure.

Always use a push stick, and a crown guard then it would be suitable for use, your hands are too close to the blade. The blade cuts flesh as well as wood.

Wax the wood for a smoother feel.
