Frickflyers is the youtube channel for the Frickflyers freefly team. Here you will find videos of team training, championships, camps, canopy piloting, wingsuit and even educational videos. Educational videos come out every week, every other month we do a Fricky stuff or Frick Gravity Swoop video which consists of a compilation of videos of that season and of course our randomly announced originals!

Dude that toggle work at 3:34 is crazy! 😅 Perfect match with the soundtrack though! 😂❤
Epik
Congrats on 5k jumps 🔥
WTF is this music 🙅🏽♂️
That’s not music, that’s a state of mind 🎧💪
The soundtrack of every BASE jumper and packer/dirtbag. Hell yeah! haha
It would be a lot more helpful if you had video of what you were talking about instead of b roll footage.
That anthem as an f1 fan 😭
Nerves of steel!
🎉
❤Superrr !💯🤘
This is awesome!!
@@gpolykra thank you!
At what wing loading do you see the benefits of a Katana or Crossfire 3 over a Sabre 3 in swoop progression?
@@ayadal I’d say at around 1.2/1.3 but it varies a lot from person to person
@@Frickflyers Thanks! I still have a way to go on my 1.35 wl Sabre 2. But as I get better at 90’s I’m thinking maybe I should switch to a Crossfire 3 at the same wing loading instead of downsizing my Sabre 2 to 1.5 wl and then switching to the Crossfire 3. I’ll definitely have this conversation with my canopy coach.
Super cool video!
thank you bro!
Skyvan
The Crossfire is horrible for learning how to swoop. It recovers much too fast and teaches you bad habits that you'll have to un-learn when you swoop. The Katana is the only non-crossbraced canopy that will prepare you for going crossbraced.
Have you ever jumped a crossfire3
@@Frickflyers I have not. I've have many jumps on a CF2 99. It was a great canopy for all-around skydiving, but I switched to a Katana for all my canopy courses.
@@jaco5187 c2 is extremely different from the c3, the recovery arc is much closer to the katana and the openings are better
You're incredibly talented young man and I commend you but you're 19 and your back will eventually feel those buttons landings as.time.goes on. Take care of it.
That was funny bro 😂
Woldn't it be more senseful to count slots per hour?
D-FINA.
What are those SophiDark videos where do i find them?
On Facebook, the group is named SOFPIDARF and features swoop crashes!
Now i know the reason why the grass is always flat in the 1000+ Landing Area in Evora ... 😅
Awesome Videos man! I am new on your Channel and love all of it 🤩 Maybe you need a topic for a new Video? Just in Case, maybe you can show how to do a harness turn while pulling the frontrisers down😅 Harness turns without front riser is no problem, but with front risern down, I am pulling myself up, my legstraps aren't stiff anymore and a cant turn with my body. Maybe you have some tipps for those Kind of stuff Best greetings from Germany🤙
Great topic! that will depend a lot on the canopy, it works best on steep crossbraced canopies for a few reasons!
Thank you for answering =) Yeah for sure its not easy to handle this topic in a video 🙈 in my case (crossfire 2, just a WL1.8) it is hard enough to just hold the front risers down 😂 After a few seconds there is too much power on the front risers. and nope, this ist not because my arms are too weak 😂 But I'm a beginner in swooping and hopefully can handle it in the future. And then I will laugh myself to ask you those questions 😂 Cheers and thank you Buddy
@@dannyday9487 a little advice: push up on the opposite riser, helps a little 😁
I'm a 90s and 2000s jumper. So different now! Being both POPs and SOS, I am so looking forward to jumping again.
I fully agreed with your selection.. It reminds me the time when I did my AFF back in 2007 at Empuria. Btw my personal favorite is a more recent one from 2013 called against the grain .. done in Sevilla..
I must watch it! thank you for the suggestion :)
Is that Axel and Yoko in the Atmonati video? They are beautiful people.
yess!!!!!
@Frickflyers no way! I miss them. Axel RIP! When they were training for Ifly, they lived with me in Florida. Jumped with them for years on and off in Utah. Beautiful people I miss so much! Yoko taught me to like sushi lol! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hey, I'm new into swooping and thats why I just stumbled upon your channel. Fuck yeah I love your videos! You are really underrated my friend! I'll watch all of the videos and hope to lern a lot. Thank you very much for that. I hope to see you in Portugal. Best regards fron Germany 🤙
Thank you bro! Greetings from Portugal!
Excellent video,! And awesome advices
Love your content. I’ve heard that most swoopers prefer one piece leg straps. I’m ordering a new rig and now leaning towards 2 piece leg straps after watching this. My first rig with about 500 jumps has one piece leg straps. Being that I’m focusing on movement jumps, freeflying and canopy piloting, I think it makes more sense to get two piece straps. Thanks!!
thank you for the support! yeah 2 piece in my opinion is the way to go :)
Never forget the key order of operations for swooping. Power 1st, Control 2nd and Safety is always 3rd
Last time I asked a stranger for a three way I got smacked in the mouth!
My favorite DZ
Beautiful place!
How tall was that building, 100 ft?? lol The ground rush was insane from that jump.
Hey!! I jumped 3 buildings, 75m, 50m and 40m :)
Awesome, thorough explanation of canopy construction. Hoping to be as skilled as you one day
Thank you for the support!
3:52 EPCOL Orléans, French DZ. 😁 PS: You should have one pair of risers blue and the other one pink that would be awesome with your already awesome style !
Hey bro! I jump a lot in Orleans :P also, check out a more recent video, like me at 2023 DIPC, you'll love my risers :)
I used to fly Pac 750 XL in Poland, good plane but on hot days it's hard to reach 14000 ft in 17 min
Any old buck with 1000 jumps 😂😂😂
The comment about someone shouldn't be freeflying with 70 jumps highlights an issue with the sport that I keep mentioning to anyone who will listen. We put far too much priority on jump numbers and not enough on actual skill level. I know people with 350+ jumps who can't dock or even leave stable that are flying cameras. I know the same people who haven't stood a landing in 350+ jumps. The learning curve is so vastly different for each jumper, the fact no one in the sport takes actual skill level into consideration absolutely baffles me. "Oh, you have 200 jumps? Sure, you can fly a camera. Nah, it doesn't matter that you can't dock without blowing the round apart or even land your canopy on your feet. Have fun" Love your videos, they're very informative. Just wanted to comment about that part. Maybe it'll help give you a little more patience with newer jumpers seeking out a discipline to try.
Do you have been in factory Avalon Skydive, where they produce the best skydivng containers?
I did my master rigger course there :)
Cool body!! Angel was the pilot?
Correct bro! Angel is a legend 😎
@@Frickflyers It's absolutely.
Horrible.
🤣🤣🤣 sure buddy
Let’s fuckin goooo
Great video! Bro, I think I saw your rig at soo many FB base/skydiving sale groups that I can't count :)) Obviously they were all scammers.
yeahhhh unfortunately lolol they tried to sell it a lottt haha
Rich and insane content! Thank you very much, bro
thank you guys for "spamming" this, it's incredible support, thank you! :)
A shout out for the Britten-Norman Islander. Noisy, with a large cargo door to exit on the port side, it was a workhorse. The later turboprop improved time to altitude. Much preferred it to C172 and C182 jumps. On my first few static line jumps with the GQ aeroconical round 'chute was afraid of hitting the wheels on exit.
great video! I have around 150 jumps and still treat myself as a beginner. I did my last jump with 185 sq ft canopy and going to downsize to 170. what would be your suggestion on canopy type and brand?
Loved this! Thank you! Start a podcast!
Thank you for the support! I was suggested that a few times now, it's complicated because I work full time managing a DZ and I record the videos at night in my dresser (silence at night and the clothes help with acoustics) so it's not good in terms of time, to invite guests etc. This format lets me include images of what I am speaking about, when I find them haha. cheers!
@@Frickflyers hey man, it’s awesome! Keep doing it. I am getting into swooping slowly. USPA C license jumper. Need to get out to Portugal and check out your DZ. I love Portugal!
@@VRGPICTURES always welcome bro! hit me up when you are around!
Also. Rich and insane content! Thank you very much, bro

Dude.. Jump 4502. Exit - 4,000 ft, delay - 20 s, deployed at 1,000 ft… A bit of a wtf moment before I saw it was a tracksuit jump on a BASE canopy 😆
I was hoping no one would notice hehe
