    @@Frickflyers Thanks! I still have a way to go on my 1.35 wl Sabre 2. But as I get better at 90’s I’m thinking maybe I should switch to a Crossfire 3 at the same wing loading instead of downsizing my Sabre 2 to 1.5 wl and then switching to the Crossfire 3. I’ll definitely have this conversation with my canopy coach.

    The Crossfire is horrible for learning how to swoop. It recovers much too fast and teaches you bad habits that you'll have to un-learn when you swoop. The Katana is the only non-crossbraced canopy that will prepare you for going crossbraced.

    Awesome Videos man! I am new on your Channel and love all of it 🤩 Maybe you need a topic for a new Video? Just in Case, maybe you can show how to do a harness turn while pulling the frontrisers down😅 Harness turns without front riser is no problem, but with front risern down, I am pulling myself up, my legstraps aren't stiff anymore and a cant turn with my body. Maybe you have some tipps for those Kind of stuff Best greetings from Germany🤙

    Great topic! that will depend a lot on the canopy, it works best on steep crossbraced canopies for a few reasons!

    @dannyday948727 күн бұрын

    Thank you for answering =) Yeah for sure its not easy to handle this topic in a video 🙈 in my case (crossfire 2, just a WL1.8) it is hard enough to just hold the front risers down 😂 After a few seconds there is too much power on the front risers. and nope, this ist not because my arms are too weak 😂 But I'm a beginner in swooping and hopefully can handle it in the future. And then I will laugh myself to ask you those questions 😂 Cheers and thank you Buddy

    Love your content. I’ve heard that most swoopers prefer one piece leg straps. I’m ordering a new rig and now leaning towards 2 piece leg straps after watching this. My first rig with about 500 jumps has one piece leg straps. Being that I’m focusing on movement jumps, freeflying and canopy piloting, I think it makes more sense to get two piece straps. Thanks!!

    The comment about someone shouldn't be freeflying with 70 jumps highlights an issue with the sport that I keep mentioning to anyone who will listen. We put far too much priority on jump numbers and not enough on actual skill level. I know people with 350+ jumps who can't dock or even leave stable that are flying cameras. I know the same people who haven't stood a landing in 350+ jumps. The learning curve is so vastly different for each jumper, the fact no one in the sport takes actual skill level into consideration absolutely baffles me. "Oh, you have 200 jumps? Sure, you can fly a camera. Nah, it doesn't matter that you can't dock without blowing the round apart or even land your canopy on your feet. Have fun" Love your videos, they're very informative. Just wanted to comment about that part. Maybe it'll help give you a little more patience with newer jumpers seeking out a discipline to try.

    A shout out for the Britten-Norman Islander. Noisy, with a large cargo door to exit on the port side, it was a workhorse. The later turboprop improved time to altitude. Much preferred it to C172 and C182 jumps. On my first few static line jumps with the GQ aeroconical round 'chute was afraid of hitting the wheels on exit.
