Sir can you clear about this 1. SWL = D+[4×L ] 2. SWL = Load class of scaffold × bay area There is 2 typs of formula for SWL but which one is correct ?? because if we use both formula in one size scaffold for SWL the answer will different ! Agar dono formula ko yek hi size ka scaffold me prayog karenge to SWL different aayega why ? Big cunfusion sir? Hope u wil clear me ??
1)Formula for SWL=D(4×L) SCAFFOLD DEAD LOAD -Weight of the Scaffold components +Weight of the Scaffold working platform SCAFFOLD LIVE LOAD - Weight of the workers+Materials+Tools You will be getting all scaffolding SWL 2)Types of duty × Bay area(Bay Dimensions) You can calculate only the live load of bay per M2. For your example Light duty dimensions is 2.4×Light duty 150 = 360kg/M2
