What i do is that i decap it, put the primer into the primer seat and pull the brass half way down to check the primer pocket is clean before i fully prime it.

Just don't buy the metal ones from Walmart. I've been looking at them for a few months, and every one that I open has an alarming amount of rust powder in the bottom.

How did you decide on 1.149 oal? Your own testing? Book? Website? I just started reloading and I'm using 115 Xtreme RN with a starting charge of 4.3 grains of Win. 231 and I keep seeing a oal of 1.1. But when I do 1.1, it visually looks like the bullet is seated so low. Trying to figure this all out since I'm a beginner and I want to keep my hands.

The trigger sold by Toms is a Schmid Tools trigger. The Schmid and the PSA EPT trigger both have the same casting marks on them. I added the JP enhanced reliability spring kit and with a little polishing of the sear I got a nice 4.24-5 lb break.

Unless your storing your Ammo in swimming pools or Bath Tubs Plastic Ammo cans used with Silca Gel packs are Just fine ...i have 0 issues with mine....and I Live in Florida!!🙂

Do you fill them to the brim and then stack them on top of each other my concern is that the bottom plastic container with the additional weight of other plastic containers stacked will cause it to break or something and that wouldn't be good with loose ammo.

Plastic will flex and sometimes fail letting water in. Also if you add too much weight to the plastic ones, they may fail around the handle or hinge area. I would go with the metal ones which are heavier, have a better water seal, and cost more. If it's more important to have light weight container and you are going to carry less weight inside, and not too worried about water intrusion, then go with plastic.

The lnl ap has more "features" than a dillon 550 yes, but since there is always some issues with them( I've got two) I get so much higher productivity on the dillon 550 than on the lnl ap and without all the frustration that the hornady crap causes. WIll never go back to a hornady press

Here in 2022 it’s almost impossible for me to find an m3k and any already 3 gun ready. I settled for a stoeger m3000 with 24 inch barrel. I purchased a plus 6 tube, the blue charging handle and added the blue release button. It looks like a 3 gun m3k and does well

If you use a PTX expander in your powder measure you can reduce the amount of dies used. I also use Lee dies on my Dillon.

Of course the plastic is going to light in water it flexes and cannot seal as tight as a metal can will but if you're going to use plastic you can get them cheaper at Walmart than you can at harbor freight
