  I watched this video because it showed up in my recommended list and I have to say that was an amazing job you did there! Personally I do not find the save states to be cheating since some tricks you had to do, especially the Heaven exploit is not easy to pull off. I remember doing it myself and it took me hours before I got it right, even longer than your two. I'm glad I watched this video, it kind of makes me intrigued to do a run like this myself, maybe not on my physical copy of the game because doing the Heaven exploit for many hours again will be annoying... But once again, great job!

  Not sure if this is a valid strat in the vanilla game, but I think I've seen a Shayy April Fool's video with the intended solution for all True lab keys being all sorts of Punchcard glitches, overflow, wrong warp, etc. Not sure if something like that played out in vanilla could skip getting the key and avoid memory heads

  42:27 I dunno if you were making the elevator joke for the "teleport to the max height" glitch thing, but it makes me wonder if there is a way to trigger that here, which would make saving luigi plausible, or rather, getting inside the painting

  Well, I'd actually seen a lot of solo single job playthroughs of the game, and one thing was very common - armor and especially accessories helped a ton. Angel Ring to dodge Aging status from Soul Cannon, Haste Shoes for basically everything in the third world, Flame Ring to trivialize the Crystal battle, Reflect Ring to trivialize Exdeath's second phase...that kind of thing. Freelancers have it even better since they can mix and match any armor as well, meaning they can put on a Ribbon from Karnak Castle and have strong defense while being immune to almost every status ailment. With all that in mind, I thought it'd be interesting to play a full party of armorless Freelancers - taking away a lot of those cheap strats, and making a run with unique problems and solutions! Hopefully this explains it, and hopefully you enjoyed the video!

  I did use a few methods to gain height in this video, but I don't believe any of them qualify as jumps. Hopefully that makes sense.
