An educational youtube channel dedicated to Neuroradiology.
My name is Sven. I'm a 40-year old Neuroradiologist from Belgium and I love teaching and I love neuroradiology. This channel combines both these passions. My teaching is philosophy is "try to keep it simple" and "I wish someone would have told me this when I was a resident". I work in a teaching hospital and I want to teach my assistants / registrars / residents as much as i can during the short time they rotate at out department. I try to do the same in these videos.
I'm always open to feedback and constructive criticism. I'm not perfect and neither are these videos. If you have any comments, questions or feedback, just let me know. If you have any requests for future videos, I'm always open to suggestions.
Hope you enjoy this channel. If you're here, it means you're passionate about Neuroradiology. I hope these videos only strenghten that passion :).
Kind regards,
Sven

Thank you sir
Such an immense dedication! I have tried to see maybe around a dozen of imaging of pituitary educational videos,by far this is the most inclusive, most informative and most interesting video I have come across. I can't thank you enough SIR. You're humble and inspirational. Thank you again.
Thank you great presentation
Very excellent lecture. I think it was best ever learning i have experienced so far. I am indebted to you Sir. Thanks a lot. Wish to learn from you in person.
The wait is worth it. What will be the topic of the next lecture, doctor?
A mystery even to me ;) (it really is!)
@@theneuroradiologist I am a NeuroRad fellow and your lectures are a invaluable source . Pls try to make a lecture on post treatment imaging of gliomas and lymphomas .
Can we have a lecture on mr spectroscopy in brain lesions
Absolutely outstanding. The best,
👏
😅 excellent way of presentation.....pls cover all neuro radiology topics in same way...would love to binge watch😅
working on it, but hard to combine with my general professional and private life :D
A more than comprehensive and wonderful presentation. Many …. Thanks. Straight ahead
Hello 👋
Thank you once again. Perfect lecture!
Awesome job. Many thanks ❤
Thanks a lot. I hope you start a new lectures about MR spectroscopy ❤
Extremely good 👍 😊 😮 Thank you!
Can a brain tumour (glioblastoma or astrocytoma) shrink and disappear, or will there always be scar tissue remaining, how can you know if it is scar tissue from the tumour ?
A difficult question that deserves a nuanced answer, because a complicated topic and just saying yes or no is not an option (and not a correct answer). Maybe I'll make a video once on imaging of glial tumors during and after therapy, hope you have patience :).
Thank you very much
Make video on cavenous sinus anatomy and thrombosis and cerebral venous thrombosis

Excellent lecture! Do you have a report template for a "Dementia" MRI/CT that you can share?

Thank you very much
Excellent Excellent Excellent! Wish I had you as my professor of neuroradiology!
Great
superb! so clear n interesting..
Nice videos sir. When will the video on pituitary pathologies be made.
Working on it :)
Awesome
Just clarification in using the GCA scale. What if its predominantly frontal or asymmetric for example. Do i say grade them individually or base the scale on the worst one and then say its focal/asymmetric?
personally I report asymmetrical areas separately and give them a separte score, for instance: "moderate global cerebral atrophy (GCA 2) but with asymmetrical more pronounced atrophy in the right temporal lobe (GCA 3). DDx frontotemporal lobar degeneration". In the end it's about identifying extremes, I don't lose my head over subtle differences (unless there's an explicit clinical question).
Such a great lecture on a practical day to day problem. Love such videos addressing daily clinical concerns. Kudos!
That presentation is so useful in everyday practice. Thank you so much!!👏

Thanks so much for this exelent video, I’m a patient who doubts the diagnosis MS and after seeing your video I’m determined to get a second opinion before starting with my BT.
Good luck and I hope you will find the correct diagnosis and correct treatment. Radiology is just part of the puzzle, my advice would be to get a second opinion from a neurologist specialized in MS and inflammatory brain disorders, I'm sure they'll be able to put all the pieces together and provide you with the correct answers to all your questions. Best of luck and kind wishes, Sven
