  Take your car, park it in a park and go parking station and use the tram to get to the city center and walk places, you are not going to see anything worth while by car, and you better off not have the dead weight with you while you visit.

  It’s simple. Drive as reckless and fast as possible. Ignore all stop signs and never look in the direction of oncoming traffic, only in the direction that you want to drive. The posted speed limits is the slowest recommended speed. Of course, when you see pedestrians or motorcyclists, try to come as close as possible without actually hitting them. And NEVER put your phone down.

  Do the pay booths on the Autostrade accept Apple/Google pay? In the UK, Apple maps is pretty reliable at telling you about upcoming speed cameras - is that the same for Italy?

  If you are driving your own car from the UK then you don't need to worry about speed cameras, only being stopped by police. Driving a rental car may be another matter however.
