We have the truck on a 4" body lift to clear the sump of the m57, need to raise engine and gearbox up as the sump on the m57 hits the front diff. 37" tyres are fitted now so we can remove front end and start the teardown process, hopefully this weekend

Michael I'm loving the look of your nissan navara's so much that I'm looking to get one, What would be the things to look out for mostly, keep up the great work 👌
Chassis and engine are the biggest issues. Check the rear chassis from the cab back is prone to rot and most will have welding. Just check for holes or rot

I'm really liking the rangers! We where are a meet with friends and they had one on display, nice and subtle, raptor ranger body kit, 33" tyres, light rack, it was very nice

@NeverlateinaV8 see this is the encouragement I need 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I'm not too far into the touareg I could walk away, the cayenne needs a bit of love, noisy tappet or lifter My heads saying keep the touareg, fix it up and sell it quick, while sorting the cayenne but then have the np and the double cab .... too many ideas 😂😂
Decide if your ideas for the VW or Porche excites you more , and choose one , there’s only so many hours in a day 😁

No it's not been crushed. It's being turned into an offroad toy, paintwork is very bad on it it. Restored as much of the paint as I can but it's definitely in line for a full respray. Thinking traffic cone orange 😁 😂

Engine time rattling like a snake!
It actually wasn't, it has a k&n apollo air intake aswell as a 3" straight through exhaust. Engine had a full overhaul with duplex chain upgrade, injectors did get replaced about 6 months after this video though due to black smoke, they where the original injectors with about 125k on them

We blew the lower shock perch retaining clip on the bilstein 5100s due to the titan swap suspension we have on the truck

That's exactly it, this was muddy and slippy as heck, the navara is running 37" tyres so a bit down on power too turning those big wheels. It did really well, if you watch the full video which is in the link, he did actually make it up

😂😂😂😂 yeah So we drive a minimum of 5/6 hours to get to these tracks, sometimes we like an easy day of just playing on the tracks, other times we like the sketchy stuff 😂 it's trying to balance the.. 6hour drive for potentially an hour of play with a blown engine or 4wd system 😂😂
@Michael-Gould OK I get that, me as a youtube-coutchpotato am all in for the sketchy stuff. I can't pay for such shenanigans, so seeing these from you gives me sum distraction from my dull life.
@pear7777 get yourself a wee cheap offroad toy and get out there, we've been out with guys with nissan micras, vw golfs, vw polos. We have alot of laughs even just doing the easy stuff, chose your battles. Or download snow runner, that'll keep you amused for a few hours 😁

Is this kit great value for money I’m wanting it on my facelift d40
I've had this kit for 4 years and it's never split or burst while offroading, my shock on the passenger side completly collapsed, tucked the tyre right up, the screw hole elongated slightly and that was it. Where are you located? I'm over in the uk and got these from gforce4x4
I’m in the uk from Newcastle, owned my navara since December and want to make a pre runner style truck
@matthewworsley2853 weyheyyyy yeah they are sturdy and strong, need to shave the light edges down a bit to clear the lights but nothing you can't sort with some basic tools
@@Michael-Gould I’ve got a canopy on currently so will shave that down also but my ultimate aim is to replace for an aluminium one and have the dirt king prefab cage shock setup hidden in part bulkhead section of it

So in the wife's defence, she's still getting used to the 4.2 v8 touareg, it handles completely different to the lifted wide body navara So what could have made the climb? My ..... could have climbed that
Did a professional awd course at Wick once. Great three days finding out how great these vehicles are!
It's beautiful up wick way love a good drive up there for work. This was at an offroad track Strathaven called drumclog, Mrs only ever does the easy bits when I get the drone out 😂😂

Not just any puddle! A kirton offroad puddle 😂😂😂 stuffs like clay, mud, oil and hopes and prayers 😂😂😂 many an alternator and bearing claimed in that puddle, if you watch the full video, the guy gets stuck later on, had to be recovered by a vitara I think it was 😂😂😂😂
