Nice video! That's some heavy greenery, what did you do to deal with the mosquitoes?

The skeeters actually weren't too bad. Keeping the fire going and throwing leaves on every now and then kept them away, but I also use "Ranger Ready" tick & mosquito repellent as well as random citronella based products - all which work well for me. thanks for the comment!

I checked out the state forest on Google Earth...lovely woodland in a rural area! Crazy that there's so many fossils. I'd imagine you're being vigilant against ticks?
@thegabeoutdoors8429 күн бұрын
I'll reply to both comments here... I do have a little water filter but don't usually bring it if I don't plan to be too deep in bush. The creeks in this area are absolutely bursting with fossils so I will be showcasing more of that! I am VERY vigilant against ticks. That's a good idea for me to touch on in a new video... Thanks for the idea, for watching, and for encouraging comments from the start!

That's so cool, all those fossils! Thanks for sharing your "kit" contents. Ever use a Sawyer water filter? One might be worth carrying, even if only for emergencies.😊 Lovely woodland! Stay cool....the heat's been brutal! Great video! 👍

Thanks! It probably feels organic because it is. I never have a plan going in or set up for a shot, just turn on my camera, start walking, and edit very little. Glad you enjoyed it

Beauty at its finest. God's creation untouched by human hands. Peaceful and relaxing, hearing the crunch of the twigs, leaves and hearing the birds singing along. Amazing visuals and clarity. Well done! Keep it up
