@Infinite Reef what are the measurements of where the filter sock goes in? There are no measurements on the Red Sea site about the rear sump space. So the spot where you can take out the piece where the sock filter goes. That is where the new NanoMat will fit. I'm trying to figure out how big the NanoMat will be.

Are you moving to a brand now tank? I need to move mainly zoas to a newly cycled frag tank! I have no idea how to handle the lighting situation. The tank has been cycled over a month maybe two but just started adding lighting! I have 2 95 watt leds over a 20 g long. It 30 w x 12 x 12 and so far only put up one light because hubby already se it and if I put both up the par might be to much and to even being the frags are all on a rack at same height so there are no low light zones, high light ect. How many hours should i run light and how many can I transfer at once? Its different the when they are shipped because of them being without light for 24 hour or so. I wish I would hae run the light longer before transfer but I am putting off a bunch of new corals I have coming in and not enough room in my main tanks yet unless I move these over! Also did you acclimate or just dip?

You might want to have another tank at hand to transfer everything when the red sea starts leaking. They all do. Happened to me and my girlfriend 1 year apart. Same model

You have a lot of beautiful reefs, and the 2 Tangs was a great idea for spreading out the bullying. And they definitely make the fish tank pop! Love the tank!

I just got my reef mat 1200.been ordering all Red Sea equipment the past 3 months.(2 controller,reef mat,dc skimmer and ato) Still need the wave makers and my synergy rm44….just upgraded my orpheck Atlantic’s to the new icons..love the tank!!

Great video. My ReefMat is my favorite piece of equipment on my tank. One thing I will note is that I have to put a tiny fan on the dirty return roll in order to prevent a gross smell from coming from it. I usually average about 4 months per roll. I'm currently averaging 13 inches per day on my 1200 running on a 120 gallon tank. Hopefully your usage rate will improve.👍🏾

I have the red sea 525xl and bought the same reef mat. Just wondering if you have noticed your skimmer not pulling as much stuff out of the water?

Were you able to solve the issue of the divider in the main sump being too short? I'm not able to get much flow into the extension sump, if any, because it's all just flowing over the divider in the main sump.

This is propably my favorite mixed reef tank on youtube! And what is so great that setup is fairly "simple", no exotic reactors, filters, etc etc. Shows really what just good husbandry and stability can achieve Can I ask what settings you are running your Orpheks on? I really like the whiter look.

Branching Porites you have is from Fiji. Upon importing they’re prone to being finicky before settling in. I had the same one. They are from extremely bright, extremely turbid parts of the reef. Give him a dip in whatever you trust a little stronger than normal. Then put him as high as you can in the reef with as much flow as possible. Eventually, his polyps will come out. ORA yellow Porites is hardy and insanely Banana pastel yellow also

I bought the same fish feeder a year ago and recently moved. During the move the manual was lost, and I have been having a hard time finding a manual online. It has also been so long since I first set it up that I forgot how to reconnect to the feeder. Luckily, with you showing the manual at 8:19 I was able to follow instructions and get my feeder connected again, than you!
