I learned so much on this video :) thank you for explaining so well.
Cmon guys thats somones mom lol have some respect you weirdos
Mm y standard caulk gun has a poker that doesn't reach the seal! How stupid is that!? This kind of crap is why I prefer the squeeze tubes. How am I supposed to use it now?
Use a coat hanger to pierce the seal. Untwist one section of the hook
@@DIYHIPChicks thanks. That worked. Next time though, I'm going tube all the way! This caulk gun is way more unwieldy while on a ladder and the amount of force needed to get the caulk out is stupid and unsafe. I can't work it with my left hand like I would be able with a caulk tube.
This is how we got to boring sterile modern design concepts.
I lost the spiking tool. Any ideas?
Yep. Use a coat hanger 😉
Dam she’s hot
Your instructions, were wrong.👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
4:19 😏
You're my new favorite person.
I’m staying with my mother right now while she goes through a divorce, and with that, comes her feeling like she has a lot to handle and can’t be independent. He originally caulked the tub, and did honestly a GOD awful job, molded in record time and looks awful. I was able to redo it and teach her how with this video, and she feels a little bit more capable today, thanks to you.
Very helpful video. I have always used a plastic bag over the tip to preserve the caulk but locked it in place with a rubber band. But the wire nut is a stroke of genius! Will use that from now on and also remember to write the date of last usage as well. Much tnx for those tips!
Great video. Thank you.
dooorock🤣
There's a bit of a pronunciation issue here. Instead of saying caulk, she keeps saying the name of a rooster. 😅
Just bought mine and this vid was very informative. Thanks for sharing and making it
This video helped me SO much. It was my first time touching anything like it, and I'd like to say I did a damn fine job. Thank you!!!
Go you
Was there a follow up video of the results of re-installing these LVP pieces which were previously submersed under water for hours?
You're definitely Superwoman sitting here trying to figure out how I'm going to open this up not even realizing that all the stuff needed it's right on this gun thank you so much
So where do you stand on the whole screw or be screwed question? You got my attention!
Thank you so much for this!! I’ve been searching and searching for tutorials because I’ve had mine a week and it’s been a horrible experience. I’ve melted down a few times feeling like I’m never going to understand and cursed to do everything by hand forever. But after this and reading everyone’s comments (many people had similar problems to mine but said it was fixed with what you showed!) I’m looking forward to trying again and fixing my problem
Easier than me trying scissors and a toothpick 🙄
Thank you so much!
Exactly what I was looking for.. Thank you!! Thank you!!
When cleaning up, also check and clean the rubber plug under the clear plastic tube.
It is crucial to keep your tit clean, to avoid splatter.
I leaned so much! Thank you I also immaturely giggled the whole time 😂😂❤
I get it. I have 3 adult sons and a husband. I've heard every joke
There's better videos believe me.
This video could be a little more better. Just too quick. She just wanted to make a video. Where is your drop cloth? 🙄
And now there are "Tri-Fuel" portables for Natural Gas
Wrong, interior outlets/receptacle boxes also leak air, the wires exist through a decent sized hole at the top or bottom plates. Also outlets leak air through the outlet/receptacle themselves so the foam pads are pointless, you have to seal around the outlet/receptacle box also go inside the outlet/receptacle box and seal the the holes in the box.
I had a bit of a sealing emergency today and the only thing I had on hand was a tube of 100% silicon that had an expiration date of 2017. It's been in my basement the entire time (our basement is a steady 65-70 degrees year round). It was stored nozzle down. When I spiked it I got a bunch of liquid but then got the silicon as I squeezed. It seemed a bit runny but I used it anyway and 30 min later it's set just like it should be. My guess is some of the solvent came out of solution and migrated to the bottom of the tube. Other wise it seems OK, other than being a bit runny. I expect the end of the tube is probably really thick. So I think at least with silicon it's OK to ignore that expiration date. Gonna go dig in my electrical drawer for a blue wire nut now.
Perfect !! I’ve never used a caulking gun but figured I could replace the garage door trim myself thinking “how hard can it be?” I absolutely loved your video! It was very informative but at the same time concise and to the point, unlike a lot of online videos. Thank you for the info.
Great video! Very clear and useful. I just subscribed. Thanks for your effort, making videos is a ton of work.
Thank you
Love this--thanks!
I’ll give you a good caulking 😅
Great video. You clearly covered everything.
This is the best tutorial i've ever seen.
OMG, I could reach out and hug you right now! Thank you!
good tip to stop damaging surrounding wood, thanks,
I came.
Best video ever! I tried to cut with a knife or cutter, but it didn’t work. I didn’t expected to find a solution, my hands are week and I am a not very young woman. I didn’t want to cut my fingers, while the plastic bottle was resisting...Respect and thank you from france !
I have all the settings right I think for spraying white paint, but it seems to be coming out splattering and then it doesn’t leave a smooth finish, any tips for a better smooth finish on wood?
Thanks. Will subscribe
Trimmer looks great, but I can only find it with a 18 volt 2 AMP battery, not the 4 AMP. I've looked at Home Depot and Amazon. Do you know where I would be able to purchase the 18 volt with a 4 amp battery?
I'm getting second hand smoke from the outlets so I really hope this works
Thanks. I'm renovating a house and had called for water to be turned on. I was afraid I would go and see a flooded basement.
I started wincing thinking about puncturing my caulking tube
That’s actually genius , Thank you !!
Your directions were very helpful. I used a tube of silicone calk, clipped the end and punctured the tube as shown. It was so difficult to get the caulk out of the tube! I have never had a problem like that. I even switched caulk guns. Same problem. Im going to buy the squeeze tube. My hands hurt at this point.
Can you use product without a caulk gun. How to open without a gun
I am not aware of any way to do that. You need to drive plunger forward with a tool of some sort
