@@Cagnulein No, Not yet. After watching the video I am nervous about doing factory resets. I also currently do not have an active iFIT account so I don't think I will be able to do the steps indicated in the video. Does QZ companion eliminate the need for an iFIT subscription?

@@noNumber2Sherlock the qz companion use the ifit app to control the inclination and speed. so basically qz on your phone is saying what to do to the companion, and the companion force ifit on a manual workout to do so

I love what this is supposed to do, but even though I turned on the feature that is supposed to pass the Cadence to the Peloton+ app, it does not work. I tried toggling it as well, just to be sure. I was really excited for this feature. Also, it is random when it updates the resistance and cadence ranges. Sometimes it'll get the numbers and other times it does not, within the same workout. And if, say the Cadence range from the Peloton gets picked up by the qdomyos app, that doesn't mean the Resistance range will update to what it is in the Peloton App+ . Just at times either Resistance or Cadence ranges will sometimes reflect what the Peloton App+ is showing. It is really infrequent. When I see them correct, it is exciting. I hope either the app gets updated or someone knows what the solution is for the 3 issues mentioned. I just bought the app today, so I'm disappointed that it's currently unusable.

Roberto, Thank you so much. I bought your app and it was so easy to join Zwift from my Echelon Bike. i use your app on my phone and Zwift on my apple TV. Then I use a projector to cast on to a wall, with a 80/100 inc screen/image. for my zwift rides.And all my stats are there. THANK YOU! : )

Hi. there is only thing that would take this app to the next level. simply adding an option to have the background go transparent. So, we can just see the floating numbers. It should not be blocking out any of the workout. I find that the iPad works best with the Qz app and my peloton side by side. But the UI always block out portions of the leaderboard. It would be a game changer if this was possible.

Hi Roberto. I've a problem installing app on Windows. When I start QZ-Companion.bat, the grogram make the ping correctly, but the next step fails: don't connect to bike by ADB Connection, appears the next error: "Cannot establish ADB connection". The log text file says:" A connection cannot be established because the destination computer expressly denied the connection. (10061)" I need help.

No the meet up is not required anymore with the new beta. Just add the zwift credentials to qz and it will go automatically! Yes also the s22i has auto resistance with zwift!

I did some test and solved two minor issues. Had to add a multiplier 2 to the inclination in the advanced settings. And limit the amount of bluetooth connections to my phone. 😊

Hi Roberto! This is fantastic and would be just what I am looking for with my new bike! I have an Ascend S2 Magnetic Spin Bike with magnetic auto resistance and it only seems to work with Kinomaps for the automatic change. I was curious if this app would work with my bike to help bridge the programming so it will work with Zwift as well? (The bike can already connect to Zwift with no issue, but the auto resistance does not change). Please let me know what you think, or if you need me to try testing anything to see if it can work!

domyos bike are not so accurate. i suggest to change the watt gain to 0.5 or even less

Hello. I’m using the zwift app on my iPad and the qz app on my iPhone. I have the qz app bluetoothed to my echelon ex3 and on the zwift app on my iPad, the paired devices screen looks a little different. I am able to connect to: power source, resistance, and cadence. However I’m not able to connect to “controls”. Is this a problem or what does the controls option do? Thanks!

That was the last thing I did. It was at the beginning of a workout program I’m doing. Does it matter if it’s part of a workout program or not? Does it adjust future rides for me? I’ll try the second workout of the program today and see if there is a difference.

If instead you want to use the Apple fitness app on the watch (I discouraged this) you have to use a different device from your iPhone for qz because of Apple limitation. I strongly suggest to use the qz app on the watch too

I don't use Zwift but it appears QZ is able to control the X32i treadmill's speed and incline. Can I do that via QZ from a file with a pre-programmed workout?
@@Cagnulein I have it installed. The speed and incline show in the Android app when I change them on the treadmill. I try the "+-" buttons in the app but the speed or incline does not change. I tried both X32i profiles.

yes you need to install amazon app store on it and download the qz app from it on the echelon tablet. you need then a second device for zwift. the echelon tablet doesn't have the hardware requirements to run zwift

I did all the steps i think, paired without a problem but I only see a black screen in the app on my quest 2. Any idea what I can do?
I didn't test on quest 2 but it should works. Is the pairing process worked fine? Which phone do you have?

I love what this is supposed to do, but even though I turned on the feature that is supposed to pass the Cadence to the Peloton+ app, it does not work. I tried toggling it as well, just to be sure. I was really excited for this feature. Also, it is random when it updates the resistance and cadence ranges. Sometimes it'll get the numbers and other times it does not, within the same workout. And if, say the Cadence range from the Peloton gets picked up by the qdomyos app, that doesn't mean the Resistance range will update to what it is in the Peloton App+ . Just at times either Resistance or Cadence ranges will sometimes reflect what the Peloton App+ is showing. It is really infrequent. When I see them correct, it is exciting. I hope either the app gets updated or someone knows what the solution is for the 3 issues mentioned. I just bought the app today, so I'm disappointed that it's currently unusable.
Trying to connect proform ifit bike to peloton. Mine is an old bike. No screen other than the little analog screen. Do I just need another decice to make this work?

@Cagnulein yes it does. It has connected to the qz app and is running fine, but I'm unsure of how then to connect peloton and the bike so that it works with the inclines
@@nicholemunhall7000 so yes you need 2 devices, 1 for qz and 1 for peloton. enable also the peloton cadence sensor setting under the peloton settings in qz. let me know

Is there any way to use the Apple Watch workout app at the same time? Reason I'm asking is that I quite like the built-in workout tracker. I would like to have ARadar run in the background only while I record a workout in the fitness app. Is that possible?

@@Cagnulein thanks for the response - there is no feature in particular I’m looking for. Just that I prefer to use the built in apps as much as possible. To me the radar functionality is separate from the tracking if that makes sense. Really cool that you’re so responsive to the community feedback!

yes and yes! you have to enable the adb remote setting in the nordictrack bike setting. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi. there is only thing that would take this app to the next level. simply adding an option to have the background go transparent. So, we can just see the floating numbers. It should not be blocking out any of the workout. I find that the iPad works best with the Qz app and my peloton side by side. But the UI always block out portions of the leaderboard. It would be a game changer if this was possible.

Hi Roberto. I've a problem installing app on Windows. When I start QZ-Companion.bat, the grogram make the ping correctly, but the next step fails: don't connect to bike by ADB Connection, appears the next error: "Cannot establish ADB connection". The log text file says:" A connection cannot be established because the destination computer expressly denied the connection. (10061)" I need help.

No the meet up is not required anymore with the new beta. Just add the zwift credentials to qz and it will go automatically! Yes also the s22i has auto resistance with zwift!

I did some test and solved two minor issues. Had to add a multiplier 2 to the inclination in the advanced settings. And limit the amount of bluetooth connections to my phone. 😊

if you load the zwo as well on qz, yes! or if you use the pc version of qz that has an AI engine yes!
Hi Roberto! This is fantastic and would be just what I am looking for with my new bike! I have an Ascend S2 Magnetic Spin Bike with magnetic auto resistance and it only seems to work with Kinomaps for the automatic change. I was curious if this app would work with my bike to help bridge the programming so it will work with Zwift as well? (The bike can already connect to Zwift with no issue, but the auto resistance does not change). Please let me know what you think, or if you need me to try testing anything to see if it can work!

domyos bike are not so accurate. i suggest to change the watt gain to 0.5 or even less
Hello. I’m using the zwift app on my iPad and the qz app on my iPhone. I have the qz app bluetoothed to my echelon ex3 and on the zwift app on my iPad, the paired devices screen looks a little different. I am able to connect to: power source, resistance, and cadence. However I’m not able to connect to “controls”. Is this a problem or what does the controls option do? Thanks!
control is about the zwift play joystick, so that's right you need that one unpaired :)

Should my cadence always be at like 110 to hit my target wattage? It just doesn’t feel right to me. I’m sure there is something that changing. Thanks.

That was the last thing I did. It was at the beginning of a workout program I’m doing. Does it matter if it’s part of a workout program or not? Does it adjust future rides for me? I’ll try the second workout of the program today and see if there is a difference.

@@damirsestic5385 qz can save power and other metrics on the Apple health directly using the qz app on the watch too! If instead you want to use the Apple fitness app on the watch (I discouraged this) you have to use a different device from your iPhone for qz because of Apple limitation. I strongly suggest to use the qz app on the watch too
I don't use Zwift but it appears QZ is able to control the X32i treadmill's speed and incline. Can I do that via QZ from a file with a pre-programmed workout?

Does qD-Zwift app combo work on the monitor supplied with the Echelon 5S-22?
yes you need to install amazon app store on it and download the qz app from it on the echelon tablet. you need then a second device for zwift. the echelon tablet doesn't have the hardware requirements to run zwift
