Thanks! I made one of these; and it's a real help. Seatbelt always cuts across my neck. I'm keeping one in my purse! Thank YOU!

I am totally making that. I have always been too short for seat belts to not hit me in the neck. Thank you for sharing!

Can you please do a tutorial on Center Street Quilts Fleetwood Tote Bag? I would love to have guidance on that pattern. Thank you for the Holland Pouch tutorial.

Perfect! Many thanks! Really any person with breasts has trouble with those seatbelts. Years ago i made myself one that was a little more complicated. I like your simple one much better. Happy summer road trips to you!😎

I am 5’2” and even with the “adjustable” seatbelts am constantly adjusting. This will be a game changer for me. I’ll be making some soon.

That looks great, cannot wait to give it a try. I have tried so many different gadgets to stop my seat belt riding up. Driving or passenger forever adjusting it is so frustrating.

I’ve been meaning to make these for years now, forgot about it because mostly I can use my “handbag” for adjusting the belt cutting into my neck but this would still be better so thanks for the reminder lol

I totally need this, but I can't picture where the snappy tube goes to move the belt. Where/how is it attached?

You know they sell plastic ones that cost $5…they work basically the same however, they’ve been proven to hold the seatbelt in that position so if you have an accident, something like you made would come off allowing the seatbelt to injure you as it’s not properly aligned without the corrector so to speak. I was an EMT for years and have seen seatbelts save lives absolutely, but when not worn properly, or when it doesn’t really fit the occupant properly as we all come in many shapes and sizes, height effects this greatly also, they can cause nasty injuries. I know my seatbelt without my clip, lays across my neck, right across the 😊carotid artery which just makes me a tad nervous lol. Great idea for comfort though, could easily be used in addition or over the clip ones like I have since they are plastic!

I 'bought' one of these, fastened by velcro (a good alternative if you can't manage poppers), and I put it round the top of the shoulder strap (so much more comfortable than having no padding). However, now I've seen your video, I realise I should have put it over the two sections of belt near where you fasten the seat belt in. Not only will this alleviate rubbing on my neck when sitting in the front seat, it will work really well in our car's backseats. Those belts come from the rear, not side, of the vehicle, and constantly cut into your neck, making journeys really uncomfortable. This will now be a thing of the past... I'll be getting my sewing machine out. Thank you 😊

What a good idea, I’m short and the belt cuts across my neck and have often thought if I was in an accident it is possible for the seatbelt to cause me serious injury or even kill me .

This is perfect for me because I have a Tracheotomy. I’ve been using the thick metal clip and it’s a pain to put back on the seatbelt after my son had to take it off for himself. Your seatbelt holder will be easy to snap on and off. Thank you!

I HAD ONE OF THESE YEARS AGO AND I FORGOT ABOUT IT. THANK YOU FOR REMINDING ME. I WILL MAKE A FEW TO HAND OUT TO OTHER FEMALE DRIVERS. I KNOW THAT THE SEAT BELT PLACEMENT WAS MODELED FOR A MALE DRIVER. SO WE FEMALES GET CHOKED BY THAT BELT.

This is the first time to your channel. Maybe you could use the dollar tree dish drying mats to make your seatbelt covers? They’re already padded, & the step to add padding is eliminated. So it would take less time to sew in no time @ all.

I like your pinwheel idea because it would be reminiscent of the way the big top stripes come together where the poles are...they seem to gather in a pinwheel sort of design at the "tent pole" area.
