    Hello, how many miles have you got on your car with the system so far? Have you had any issues? Have you had any valve adjustments done ? What is the average fuel consumption per 100km? I have a 2019 CRV with the same engine and I’m planning on installing the same system. Thanks in advance!

    the carbon in the cylinders is easily remedied with the use of good gas and seafoam non aerosolized liquid in the gas tank & crank case(1 ounce seafoam too 1 gallon of fuel) …..the problem is the intake valves! so running a proper throttle body/plenum /intake valve cleaning (seafoam spray)is the only way to clean properly without tearing the head off and walnut blasting ! oil catch cans paired with a good cleaning every 2-3 oil changes and running fuel tank additive religiously is the key ! these GDI engines all running a higher compression ratios than before GDI so any carbon in the cylinder will affect the engine especially if some pistons have more buildup than the others…. because it affects compression ratios

  • @soulnchain
    @soulnchain Жыл бұрын

    Hey, i’ve had the system a bit over a year now, in april 2023 I started having the first problems, the car would stall sometimes and going uo hills at a constant speed it would switch back to gasoline, the system gave no error code. They changed the main pressure body (the black part under the hood), after that all god for a few weeks then the car started strugling to start after sitting for a few hours, they told me there was a small gas leak that wouldn’t the correct fuel amount through to start the engine right away, this time it gave an error code. They changed the same part again. I just got back from vacation and started driving the car again 3 days ago, so far so good. I can’t tell you if it’s faulty parts or bad installation unfortunately, but everything was done under warranty and i still have one year warranty left. As for gasoline consumption, it might be 10% or 5% but i can tell you 5L of gasoline can last me about 5-6 LPG fill ups (about 250/300 liters of LPG)

    Hey, just an FYI. I disassembled the caliper for powder coating. You can separate the piston from the worm drive without any worry of parts flying out. Apply compressed air into the banjo bolt hole to eject the piston first then do what you did to remove the worm drive. Ez pz, no problemos my friend.

    Brilliant 👏 I used to see cars back in Italy with it called GPL in Italy and now I am in the UK and I found out it's called LPG . Have you got any issues with the injectors as the LPG is quite dry. I am thinking to buy a 2014 Honda civic 1.8 with LPG kit 100000 miles on price £6300 The benefits of LPG/GPL is that keeps the engine clean, spark plugs and oil stay clean after 15000/20000 km Thank you for sharing All the best for UK

  • @soulnchain
    @soulnchain Жыл бұрын

    Thanks for watching! Yes LPG stands for liquified petroleum gas, or gas petrolio liquido in italian. Mind that the new civics from 2016 on have direct injection engines, so the injector always sprays a bit of gasoline while the LPG system is active, there is always a 5% of gasoline being used. The model you are looking at is port injected so it's a different story, gas and air are mixed before entering the cylinder. 100k miles are a lot, I would be worried about the valve condition on a car with that kind of mileage with an LPG system in it.
