Brain fog? Too much social media? Smoking the green stuff? Or just not finding word words? I'm going into the same route as you are and i actually thought about recording videos to improve my speech and to help with the social anxiety, you got any advice for that? Please enlighten me if you do, my advice for you is to speak about a topic, or maybe to talk about a problem and how to solve it, to put some work into the speech so you can have a clear path about what to talk about.
@pooriajr27 күн бұрын
I guess my only advice is that everything is a skill, so anything can be improved with practice. That's why I'm doing these videos, so if you want to improve, find some small way to practice consistently. Can be recording videos, can be just recording podcasts, or anything as long as it gets you practicing :)

I feel you. Had a similar week: Foggy. Seemingly simple tasks taking longer than usual/ expected. You're may be right about meditating. Been working from home, fortunately. So, when that frustration sets in, I'd either take a walk, or nap-hit the brain switch. It helps a little.
@pooriajr27 күн бұрын
Thanks for chiming in, yeah last week was really foggy for me. Weekend helped a lot. I think I just needed rest and relaxation, but I also want to find a way to keep the energy up during the week when I can't just stop working. Walking and napping are definitely good, they always help, sometimes a little but sometimes a lot

You can do this even better in vs code combining it with Vim extension. So I can select multiple places with ALT, than make insert mode, type in **, back to Normal, hit E for placing cursor at the end of each word, again instert mode and type in **. In case of any issues you can adjust all keyboards shortcuts within keybindings.json file so that they don't overlap, but for this feature I guess it ain't necessary. Cheers.

This can be done with find and replace (with regex) in VSCode. But yeah, macros are super useful. Especially when there is no obvious pattern to search-and-replace.
