I had been following your advocacy on Gaza but now I learn from your social media that the host just accepted a fellowship which is to honor an American President who has a treacherous record on Middle East. At a time when people are leaving jobs and consultancies of USA, it is just shameful especially when a person is that vocal on this issue and is preaching prophetic morality. These upper middle class kids will cant just get out of the their networking and achievement bubble but would want to think of themselves as next Fidel Castro. The choice of your guest always showed extreme classism which is not something even of surprise for anyone in the legal industry but at least be consistent on the intellectual issues of genocide you seem to care a lot. Is Gaza really an intellectual issue for academic discourse or would it result in some serious change in attitudes? This whole 'hating the game not the players' logic or having a foot in the system to fight is mostly a rationalization of ones own desires when everyone knows game is created by the players and no one allows the basics of the system to change by being within it rather than creating an external force. Should we take really this advocacy seriously with such a glaring hypocrisy at a time when literally genocide was perpetrated?

Wonderful! He was most dynamic, educated & foreword looking NSA Pak ever had. Moeed Yusuf is not just articulate but also has the capability for original and critical thinking and even has the capacity to deduce the right solution to issues. He is absolutely right to point out the classist dichotomy operating in and that serves to ruin Pakistan as a nation. He is again on the dot to seek solutions internally rather than placing the blame on outside actors. Basically, Pakistan is wasting its time launching leaders who are strong on rhetorics, lectures, cheap publicities and PR-bent. Instead, what Pakistan needs is leaders and elites who are solution-seekers, problem-solvers and pledge-fulfillers and leaders who are mission-commited and delivery-adherers. If Imran Khan has or can imbibe and actualize these positive attributes then he can be the man to take Pakistan into the future. Anything short of these would doom Pakistan into Bollywood as a potential SLUMdog !😅
