  I buy this watch in 1986,she was in perfect condition but unfortunatly they robbe me in my house and the watch disapear with other nice watchs,but i find one for 250$ and i am happy to have an other casio blue thunder,i hope casio will made a reissue of this iconic watch

  Hello, I have a question about this watch that pertains to the watch band. I noticed that the top bar which holds your strap in is the fixed bar and not the spring bar but your bottom strap is held in place using a spring bar. Were you able to get that fixed bar out and if so was there a tool you used specifically and how much force was needed to push out that /bar pin? Thank you ahead of time!

  I just got one of these indecent digital watches used from eBay. The watch is already set by the seller, but I wanted to see how you set it to make sure it’s working properly. I think it’s with that small button you pressed with the pen. Since you did show how, I hope I can figure it out without messing up the time it’s already set on. I was buying lots of great watches from Japan around 98 to 2002 but they were hard to find here in the US. This one I never saw in a store but I used to see it in the trendy Japanese fashion magazines. So most ppl. Who have these independent watches got them back then in Japan or now off eBay. I know they made the all chrome version of gold, but I ended up getting the one with the plastic Smokey transparent one.

  So is your watch working bc I’m checking to set mine and you didn’t even get the numbers to show. When I press the small button with a pen like you did, it didn’t do anything and seem the same for you. Mine is set by the person I bought from on eBay, so I know mine works, but not sure how to set all the rest of the features. The sellers says to look on KZread and I don’t see the same watch, besides yours.

  Always use a needle to pry out gently the battery holder on almost all casios. It prevents from breaking the tiny plastic retainer.

  …i remember when young in the seventies…buying a clock like these once a year…manual like a little bible…i could never even remember how to set time…always throw all of them away…wear an early metal citizen look a like swatch for the last three decades…but it did got a press little extra though…a dim little electric light…but it died twentyfive years ago…i still love it and it will follow me in the coffin and away we go…

  I got one of these for my birthday when I was a kid. It did not work properly and was returned. The replacement also failed and was replaced with something else entirely which I can’t recall.

  One of the best models of Casio in 1980. Alarm was very sharp and stainless steel case was very tough. I used to love it ❤️
