@@soysauce4087 Rubinstein did not close his eyes and look at the sky, he did not sway. Richter didn't raise his wrists half a meter just for show, it doesn't do anything. playing expressively is another thing, moving your hands and body doesn't change how the keys are pressed, that's technique. it's virtuosity. something this guy doesn't master otherwise the whole musical world would know his name.

@@soysauce4087 Personally, it bothers me in a performance to see a pianist who thinks he can balance the fact that he doesn't know how to play expressively by moving and making strange gestures with his hands. I don't think you've ever seen a performance of any Beethoven sonata by a truly virtuoso pianist otherwise you wouldn't say that.

@@soysauce4087 but maybe you misunderstood... the wrists rise to change notes or make jumps and that's right, or when there's a pause, it comes naturally. instead he raises his wrists half a meter with his gay-like hands to do what? do you think that if you move the sound changes on its own?

B\this guy is good! I love the couple in the top left who simply stopped to listen and the others too. I would've stopped. Another reason to get to airport early. So many doofuses just walked by having no idea what's happening in front of them. What is the matter with people? And that idiot guy with the guitar who just trudged by -- seriously?

This young man has music in him ! Very musical performance of maybe the best known if the 4thfminor Ballade and the perfume commercial years ago are not better known. The beginning of the Ballade is gorgeous exposition but it won't catch attention of people going about their lives. One ofthe Chopin etudes A loud scherzo or 3rdBallade n etude or one of the scherzi ,3rd or 4thscherzo, BRach etudeTableau or Kreisleriana or any ofthe Schumann Sym etudes can get people's attention .

i disagree. there's also sonata in b minor from liszt and the last 5 beethoven sonatas. at this level, there's simply no 'best' and everything is subjective. ballade no.4 is also comparable to these and beethoven's appassionata sonata.is also just as amazing as this.
