I fit a load of the vitra concealed cisterns. Got to get the fill and flush pipes spot on. Drawings we work to have them dead centre on the grout lines so they've got to be millimetre perfect. Look pukka but they're fiddly to get screwed to the wall spot on.

@@NickTaylorPlumbingLtd I personally wear JSP Force 8 respirator with P3 filters , you only need P2 for tiles I believe but more protection the better The mask with two filters is £30 from Screwfix and the filters are 15 for a pair when replacing. They last for 40 hours around or a month It's definitely worth doing, too many tradesman are losing there lives to respiratory illnesses. If you wouldn't touch asbestos without a mask what difference are tiles? Good work as always

Excellent video. I'm 70 years old and my husband passed away last years, so now finding things around the house that need doing, but, would have always been done by him. Toilet seat had been loose for over 6 months and wouldn't tighten. I watched your video, found the plastic raw plug thing had stretched, ordered a pair from Amazon for just over £3, and, completed my first real DIY job 😂 Once again for a very clear video 😊

Does that tray manufacturer allow tile adhesive or do they specify a sand & cement bed?
@NickTaylorPlumbingLtdАй бұрын
Some manufacturers allow flexible powered tile adhesive but most sand, cement and flexible additive. Im not sure about your experience but for me the manufacturers find every excuse to put the blame on the installer even though you follow the manufacturs instructions by the book, generally I find sand, cement and additive crumbles and the tray becomes loose, flexible tile adhesive all the way but I always screw or glue tile boards down first which acts like a de-coupling mat. Hope that makes sense and helps
