Thank you so much for this video . I have been trying to understand how PLY works for more than 3 days. And I gained a few insights about it from my experience but I have been flailing around. This video may have proven to be life saver. I will update more after I correct/finish my code based on new knowledge gained here. Also kudos on the background about Regular Language & Context Free Language. It made understading the concepts illustrated here super easy to grasp.👍

Most of the video is about how flask is so compact, but if we need any kind of extended functionality, we need to add modules and basically convert it to Django. Isnt that the reason why Django is so popular, it helps you focus on coding rather than setting up the boilerplater?

And the conclusion was? Most of this video seemed Flask oriented. Was there a summary slide missed off the end of the video?

mod_python was a stretch but he followed with mod_wsgi; I think he was just trying to be complete. The guy's question was not even valid because his apps architecture is flawed from the way he was talking (web is stateless). Flask has many tools that are easy to integrate (like all python modules). This gives you the flexibility to use SQLAlchemy or Django ORM for your database. "Frankenstein"? Sounds like you have not used Flask nor looked at its source code. It's a _microframework_, look it up
