Among the theories put forward is that it was a gust of wind from Mary Rose's port side that caused her to heel over. With the open gun ports today's story began. The tragedy of those hundreds of lives so quickly extinguished would lead us into a world of discovery. We know so much how the aristocracy lived, but had so little knowledge of the ordinary men. Their skeletons have told us a great deal. My daughter asked me if this was desecration of a grave site. I told her no. All of these people are being honored for giving their lives to their country; and, by so doing, to teach us so much. As a sailor myself, in the US Navy, I salute all who served their countries and have made the ultimate sacrifice. 🫡

Her ex - what a lovely gent. Relationships are impossible when one's drinking. Thankful I've been sober for 26 years. I wouldn't have lasted as long as she did. Alcoholism takes everything and has taken so many... in all fields, and it doesn't have to be this way, dear ones. Rest in paradise, Yootha 💫

To Kill a Mockingbird, The Big Country, The Yearling, The Omen, he always played parts of great integrity and power, and even in The Boys from Brazil, he was still superbly menacing as the Nazi, Joseph Mengler. Greg always brought class, strength, power and of course, that low pitched voice that was uniquely his - I doubt whether we will see the likes of him again. Such a great loss to the movie world. I’m sad I never met him.

Bought as castle, as you do, God bless him. I love watching and/or listening to Civilization. Sometimes I find it hard to follow, and I find the art a bit gaudy, but then again it has Ian Richardson, Captain Picard and Major Toht making me actually enjoy Shakespeare, which is an achievement as I am just an Australian Bloke who likes going motor racing .....

Boyd wouls have done for James Bond what Daniel Craig did 35+ years later. But I doubt Boyd or Craig would have lasted in the role as Connery did in the 1960's.
