This is SO VERY HELPFUL!! Thanks so much for the concise and detailed visuals as well as the verbal explanation. I’m new to brioche, being able to correct mistakes will make the difference between doing projects with brioche or running away from them! 👏🏼👏🏼

Fantastic video! thank you. I used it to fix a one color brioche but you were so clear about the foreground and background stitches that I was able to identify them. I was nervous about going down five rows but it worked out perfectly.

I left a tail 3 times as long as my stitches and at the end of the cast on the tail was too long. Is that normal? Someone please help me
@KingfisherKnits Жыл бұрын
Using three times as long is a safe amount that means you’ll never run out. The actual amount you’ll use would depend on the stitch size and the yarn weight … if you’re tail left is annoyingly long just trim it to 6-8 inches one you are totally done with the cast on. Hope that helps 😊

Thank you so much for the totally unraveled explanation. I had some stupid error going on which required me to really undo all the stitches totally. Now I have it down: Leave the shawl, go under the next 2, grab the third.

This was excellent! I'm working on my first brioche project. After watching this I can now see what is what. I've been using frequent lifelines and frogging back pairs of stitches to reknit. This is so helpful! Thank you.

Lovely video, the issues made sense, and the fixes made sense, but maybe I just missed it, but did you indicate which mistake from the beginning you were fixing with each fix?

Thank you for the thorough explanation, I may attempt to fix where I purled whenI should have knitter. : )

You show the mistakes and then demonstrate how to drop down a stitch where there is no mistakes. This seems an odd thing to do !!! The error I would like to see fixed, is where a column of V stitches move over to the next column.
