  I'm a Sox fan living on Long Island. Brought my son, who was 5 at the time, to the old Yankee Stadium to a Sox/Yanks game. Sox lost but I will never forget how my son was teary eyed that they lost and several Yankee fans were taunting him. Really? Taunting a 5 year old? I was equally appalled how security officers at Fenway treated Yankee fans who came to them for help for the way they were harrassed by Sox fans and Security would just smile and shrug their shoulders. What is wrong with people??? I never understood the mentality of fans who use the word "we" when talking about their team. "We've won 24 World Series!" We? There's no "we". You're just some guy in the stands or sitting at home watching the game. Your don't work for the team. You don't coach. You're not on the roster. What do you mean "we"? If your favorite actor is Jack Nicholson and you're a rabid fan of his movies, do you go around saying "we won 3 Oscars"?
