I was only 2 years and 7 months old on the day that we lost Ayrton Senna. So I really never truly saw him racing myself, but I grew up watching the many of the old races and hearing people talking about Senna and how they used him as the standard to compare the drivers that came after him. And sometimes I find myself imagining a world where we never lost Ayrton Senna and that he was still racing in F1. Even with all of the restrictions that today’s FiA has imposed on the engineering of F1 cars. I could just see Senna using his gift to make his car look like it was nothing but a blur of just pure motion. This was a man who was thinking in terms millionths of millimeters while everyone else were still in terms of centimeters. There will never be another driver like Ayrton Senna da Silva who has the same combination of skills, mindset, gifts, and the mental drive that Ayrton Senna had. As well as his humble and grace when off the track. Senna you were truly the Heroic Son of the Brazilian People.

Imagine Senna testing a modern F1 car of the 2020s, as well as other sports cars. You can bet he'd say this is not REAL driving, not pure driving! This is only half driving, half being a passenger! But he would otherwise love all the amazing safety advancements since 1994.

Ayrton Senna became one with the machine, breaking the laws of physics and nature in the process of showing the world the many unbelievable wonders that this fusion could offer, but at the same time, he showed us how deadly that could be, paying the ultimate price for his bravery.

The way they all step out of the way as the driving god inspects the vehicle! And then when he gets out after the drive, cool as a cucumber. Senna had something mystical about him!
