@@andyemerson3718 thanks for viewing and sharing the information with everyone!
Thank you for the video. There is an easier way to change the clutch lever which does not require removing the cable from the channel. Unscrew the lever, remove the cover, and release the tension in the cable with the double black nuts thingie as you would in the video. With the lever loose, you can carefully pull it out and rotate it so that the cable end with the cilinder comes off the lever, freeing it. To install new lever just work backwards: insert the cable end cilinder into the lever hole, etc...

Nice. I have the same bike. Why not pud led in for the headlights? Or do u think it will piss off drivers cause its led with a reflector headlight?

Thanks for this video its great mate. I have an r1 2000 and I want to paint the frame matt black like yours what did you do? Self etching primer and then paint or you powdered coated it? Any advice?thanks 😅
Thanks for viewing! That was done on a 2003 Yamaha r1 which is why the frame has color to it. The procedure is the same for 98-03 for the clutch
Just be mindful that on my BMW S1000R 2014 I found it could be done without removing the tank. I don’t recall even having to lift it? Check routing first and think simple!

Hi, on my FZS 1000 i have some problem with my clutch when i press clutch and put 1st gear it hits hard i tried to change clutch springs and new clutch cable but still feels like clutch pressing not all the way and its hard to find Neutral and also u need some force to go trough gears, any ideas? Soon gonna order full clutch components but maybe there is some kind of fix? P.s clutch plates are in good condition.
The R1’s and some other Yamaha’s make a knock noise when putting into first gear. My r1 does it they are known for it. Hard shifting could be worn shift forks if clutch is not setup correct with enough free play ect
I have an issue where my 08 R6 will be running then electrical power cuts off randomly its sporadic it’ll randomly die while idle and sometimes will die mid throttle no certain rpm just does when it wants battery is new and electrical diagnosis was done at a shop and still can’t figure it out
Definitely a tough one. Clean all your grounds. Make sure all connections are nice and tight including the negative and positive battery cables on the battery. I’ve seen bikes do all types of weird stuff with loose battery connections. There also a starter/ spark relay. That could be going bad as well. On a 2001 r1 I had a while back it would run mint but then after a certain amount of time of running it would just die out. It was the relay which was bad. I changed that out and no more issues
Good video on doing the oil change. Thank you!
No problem thanks for watching and hopefully it was helpful!
Nice bikes, but lose the crap rap music
Thanks and noted. That’s my buddies r1 that was a Frankenstein bike lol. It’s come a long way. Still got stuff to do to it though
The play in the throttle is because the amount of cable sticking out the end is just a hair longer than what comes out on an original banshee cable. I had the same problem with that same chariot throttle i custom made a throttle cable and perfect. Love this fucking banshee it looks so good nice job
Thanks so much appreciate you! 🙏👍🏻👍🏻. How did you custom make the cable and will it work with 41mm pwk fully open them?
@ctadrenaline yes itll open no problem at all. I've been messing with bikes and atvs since i was like 5 lol. 34 now and there's a company called. motionpro. They make cable repair kits look em up. I got my cable setup and routed where i wanted then install into the throttle assembly and look how much is coming out literally the amount to give slack isn't shit lol so i cut the ends off shortened it very minimal and haven't had a single worry. Person i sold the banshee to hasn't had a problem if it was here I'd take a video for you showing what i did.
Woww what was used to get carbon wheels that clean and shiny 😮👍🏽

Did they ever say, “oh we saw your flash counter, your warranty is denied.” ?
Thanks for viewing. No the dealer has never said anything like that to me. All the dealers know or should know that 90% or more of these bikes will get flashed. Only BMW can deny the claim. Not the dealer as they go through them for the warranty stuff. If a dealer automatically just says something like that go find another dealer
Bike looks great, music not so much. Dont even know what the hell he is saying
lol! Yea the bike does look pretty good
Need more content on the 03 r1 pls so I can try to work on mine too 😂
It’s coming I got a video in the works. Had to wait for some special goodies to arrive 👍🏻👍🏻
I thought i was getting blind or mad, i got 2003 R1 and the clutch did stop working. I get the bike home and open up the clutch cover, and i start googling about how the clutch is assemble and every where on the internet there are many small springs that press the plates together, but of course my bike doesn't have springs. But it dose have this spring disc. But what is going on if i get the ratchet pin to engage the leverage arm but it doesn't release the clutch...
Thanks for viewing! I’m not exactly sure what you’re asking but it seems like something is not installed correctly. If possible make a video on KZread so I can see it or message me directly on Instagram. Same name as my KZread
@@ctadrenaline I didn't put it correctly together, i did in the end. Because the ratchet pin has to travel quite a lot before working the clutch... My bad. :D :D

Great video. Have just had exactly the same difficulty with the 'Piano wire' on an FZ 750, very few you tube videos on this. I have ordered a new one after original was too distorted. Do you think i will have a better chance of getting new wire in place if I remove basket out of bike to do this task? Cheers
Glad the video was helpful! You should have better luck with the new one. Wrap it tight around and try to push it down the hole with your finger. Use something like a very small flat head screw driver for glasses to try to grab the end when it pokes through when pushing down with your finger
Thanks for fast reply. So do you think it would be easier for me if I removed clutch basket from bike just to get wire on ?
@@MrFrubz no probably not. Keep it on. Get one side in first ( going clockwise with the wire then pull that wire tight around it. You may have to use a needle noose to grab it better. There is notches for the wire to go into so keep that in mind
No gloves? WTH man
Yea I was a bit excited forgot to put them on lol no issues though

Do you need 2 relays on each side? Or only 1 relay will work on both sides?
