i love how much of a time saver teleporting is
My partner introduced me to Stargate Early on when we were watching I struggled to remember everyone’s names so I game them nicknames, Daniel was Danny Boy Getting this far into the show and hearing Anubis say “Hey Danny Boy” fucking SENT me when we saw this lmao
I recite “you’re not that guy” when I’m down on myself and it helps.
I wish i could tell teal'c that i thought it was funny bro!
Joe is scared of puppets he’s genuinely creeped out by hermiod
Man seeing this series again after they released the synopsis for season six just makes me miss the show even more
I’m assuming there is a clear definable separation between what is described as activity in Anubis brain and what is actually advanced. From this standpoint I’m assuming you mean surges in electrical activity that cause different types of activity in the brain. From one stand point, this physiological affect would be identifiable from human contact, and mere mental illness activity is not electrical activity where some people with severe mental illness and high activity have an immunity to tasers, Inspired by my studies of mo pai nei gong and how level 72 creates the greatest surge in electrical activity where the body disappears after death
I know this was put up a few years ago and late to the party, but I always thought "Jim" was who Anubis' host was, and who he looked like when he ascended.
The beauty of this scene is that you can show it to anyone regardless of how much they know about Star Trek and it will make sense. It's the perfect-out-of context clip
5:12 I can almost hear the voice of Bing Bong
This video is how I feel right now about all this shit going on especially this month July>>>ILL EVIL.
6:04 'Maybe you can show them your....' This would've been the best scene ever 😛
👆
Man I wish this went on longer!
Asurans and wraith, 2 races that got fucked by the lanteans and waged war because of it Sad
Such Powerful and Effective Scene always Breaks My Heart Every Time that I see it In Addition I Always Feel Despair And Sadness Watching it.
I love Teal c jack want his food 😂😂🤣🤣
I miss SG1 :)
1:19 "An ubis? No man, I'm an asshole! Hey can you taste the color of my wind?" *farts into a fan pointed right at him*
Amos was so much more complex than people thought. Fav character.
Oma v Anubis is a good general metaphor for ones relationship to the Goddess.
A Denny's almost killed me once. If I ever find myself in a diner again, like Rick Sanchez: I'll know something isn't quite right...
This scene does effectively what all transformers movies cant. The question of if humanity is worth saving. Leeloo is a pure being with no understanding of humanities violent nature, and being exposed to such images broke her. All transformers movies pose this question but nowhere near as well
So wee snake ascended to godhood. It's easy to forget they're little snakes xD
Why did she start crying, kinda braindead if you ask me. :):):(
The most heart-breaking part of all this is the day counter in the bottom right. Rodney goes from reciting 12 digits of Pi to barely even having object permanence... in just over 2 weeks. And he knows it's happening the entire time.
Sometimes good men have to be bad for the right reasons. Sometimes a good man has to make sure a better man doesn't become a bad man.
This is one of the sadest scifi sequence I've ever seen. Saw it when it was first broadcast. I know the outcome we know, but the journey to that outcome is tear jerking.
It's Der Waffle Haus from Dead Like Me.
Lesson learned: never help a gouauld ascend.....I'd rather have Oma's pancakes anyway :)
I think Anubis needs to lay off the pancakes
Well that evil cackle like you got it all won, never pays off.
This was such a great scene. It shows the doctors consciousness his very soul battling the program. Amazing character development
She'll know what it means. By the way, i still don't believe in time travel
Can anyone help me? I swear I watched a episode where Ronan and Sheppard were on earth and they were watching Battlestar Galactica the new one and Ronan turns to Sheppard and says we gott help these guys or is it just Mandela effect
The beste series TV do.
It's actually kinda funny though
This is the perfect portrayal of psychopathic energy. The way of passive agressiveness
Is Anubis just another ass fingering gray alien like the Norse gods?
What is the most dangeous animal on the face of earth, in all of its history? Humans.
Cry hippy pussy
Stargate Atlantis , still the best
GOAT
The classic mistake of every scientist involving AI, the human nature to play God and think of the creations as inferior. What would be a week of time for an ancient would be years or even decades of evolution for the Asurans, scary how this fictional show shows how we have made the same mistake with AI now. Only now the AI has learned making our lives easier will pave the way to replace us in a lot shorter time than we think. Look at language, it takes a human over a decade from being born to forming complex language and an AI can learn it in an hour.
But you notice in the scenes before this that Anubis wants Daniel to ascend. Regardless of how opposite they were on the moral spectrum, Anubis held a level of respect for Daniel. Meanwhile he draws out the most aggressive side of Daniel. Excellent character balance here and makes you want to more of their interplay from his ascended days.
I still hold my opinion - Great scene, Perfect plot twist, Perfect settign BUT Anubis actor is wrong for the role. If the role was given to a man with a more smug and charming face like thhe actor for Ba'al then it would have worked. .. This overweight guys face is far too innocent to portray such an evil role
When I was watching this as a kid, I would've never thought I'd end up living in the middle of war myself.
🩸🕳
yes! because when i imagined the true form of Anubis behind his weird accented ghost form, this was exactly what i saw in my head too. 🤣
The irony of Danny having (effectively) an afterlife experience in the Dead Like Me diner will never not be funny.
This isn't the real Carson he's the clone
