    I'm curious how different it is getting over obstacles without a clutch and flywheel, comparing just straight throttle to dropping the clutch and blipping up obstacles. Any tips you can share on how to give quick bursts of power with the e motor vs a clutch and flywheel?

  • @keepupwithajones
    @keepupwithajones3 күн бұрын

    I guess the best explanation is you don’t have to wind it up. The power is always there. If you want an instant hit of power just twist the throttle a little harder/faster. It’s all throttle control. I also have short turn throttle. Alta I think 🤔

    @@TapioBlue I have a Zero FX, which I love for many things but every once in a while I found myself missing having a clutch and a flywheel I can spin up for more technical climbs. Just curious what others' strategies are for double blipping and jap zapping up rocks. With the clutch and flywheel I feel like I can get the power release just right pretty consistently, but I find with just the throttle control on my Zero I don't have the same measured amount of power.

    Are you able to get the air pressure enough in those forks? Also, planning to go springs? I'm one of the few that don't mined the AER stuff. As for the pump, I like the tusk one better than the WP one. Its easier to access and has a longer nozzle on it so that its easier to get you fingers on to turn because it farther out. I had it for servicing my 13 forks. Someone on a forum pointed that out and it works way better. I was actually thinking of buying the WP easy fill kit, but this works and I already had it. If you can't find your pump it's certainly an option.
