I have a Club Car DS I’m looking to replace the steering wheel on. What’s more common for an aftermarket replacement a 12.5” or 13.5”? Trying to not have to order one of each.
Most use the 13" use code on our channel for 15% Off -www.mygolfcartshop.com/c-75-steering-wheels.aspx
Great content Jason! I have a 2015 precedent that runs on maintenance but not on operate. I’m thinking it’s the shifter micro switches that are bad. Any advice in the right direction would be greatly appreciated! Keep up the good work!!!
what do you do when the new coil does not have an end for the plug??\
You have to unscrew your old cap off to screw into your new one. The end caps have like a sheet metal screw in them.
So if you don't have battery pack voltage on the main lugs of the forward/reverse switch, does that mean it is bad? I have it on the bottom lug but very little on the other three.
You should have battery pack voltage at all 4 lugs so, if you don't it could be a bad F&R Switch? I would not get one off Amazon as we've seen a lot of those not good? - Use Code For 15% off - CSTV15 www.mygolfcartshop.com/c-244-forward-and-reverse-parts.aspx
OK that probably is bad. I have battery pack voltage on the very bottom one and only about five or six volts on all of the other three.
Good video! I took the hillbilly approach and made myself some new bushings with copper pipe! Always enjoy your videos
My electric club car pedal is sticking I'm glad you posted this video
Video was great helped me fix mine. I’m off and cruising again thanks for the post
Thank you for the info. Trying myself to revive a 2004 Club Car DS.
I’ve taken wheels off to see the spines on both sides and they both look good cart. When I took off the wheels, there was grease all over in the castle bolt. Won’t move going forward or in reversed. Can you help me with troubleshooting?
Most times the axles do look fine. The Hubs are designed to wear out so I would look close at those. Can take them both off and press the gas pedal to see if the axles turn?
@@cartsmarttv the axle turns but slow. I took the spine rod out and one side was wet and the other dry. But once I had it out and put back there was oil throughout both sides. Is this normal?
@@Carol-ms8vm sounds like the axle seals are leaking?
Will this work with a 2001 with gas???
@@armedfarm3429 no, only electric carts.
Nice video!
I’m the 5%. Charger not working.
Where are you located
@@Woodsandsons4 info is in the description.
Always good 😊
Figured out the problem?

Is the spring sku cp-0111 on your website

Do you have a video showing the carb adjustment on these Robin 2 cycle engines? Rick
They don't have any adjustments on those. You have to take apart often to clean. You take the bowl off and remove the center screw which has many holes in the tube that often get clogged up and need to be cleaned out. Call us for more info. 276.632.8905
You said S1 to S2 , did you mean A2 in the video; PLEASE CHECK YOUR VIDEO NOW!!!!
It was a mess up on what he said, we didn't go back and fix it due to he was pointing to the A2 in the video. Sorry
@@cartsmarttv I just hope someone doesn’t go from S1 to S2 and possibly burn up their motor.
Do you mean from s1 to a2 on battery power?????
The dcs and pds motors are the same except for the speed sensor on a pds the are both separately excited motors
My carts always seem to kill the first(+) battery and the last (-) battery. I rotate them around every 3-6 months. Center pack always seems to be healthier. Guess it’s current/heat on the first and last battery in the series string?
Always look forward to your informative posts. Thanks
Good information!
Mine is a 2013 ezgo , solenoid has power on the pole that is connected to battery, but from the other side of solenoid to starter no power!.
Apparently it's not transferring the power. A solenoid is just a switch, Do you hear it click when touching the pedal?
@@cartsmarttv yes, from pedal switch yes but not from the solenoid!.
@agentelopez82 sounds like bad solenoid?
38.4 LiFePO4 has 12 105Ah individual 3.2V cells (batteries) inside wired in series. Last for decades, can beat the snot out of them, charge and discharge them stupid fast and still get about 98% efficient energy transfer etc. I’m off grid. Batteries keep my lights and air conditioning on. I may have an unhealthy addiction to LiFePO4 😂
Nice Video. I'm sure I'll be using it fore too long. You mention Amazon a lot for Cheapnanese parts, another one is E-bay. There are some good sellers on there, but you got to find them. I have gotten parts that don't work right outta the box.
@armedfarm3429 we're mainly saying our parts are proven for the last 20 plus years. And we trust them and we'll take care of you after the sale and also offer tech help with our parts unlike Amazon and ebay.
I have a 2005 ezgo, I just put a new motor in it and now when I press the gas pedal the solenoid doesn’t even click, does that mean the solenoid is bad now? The solenoid also doesn’t have continuity across the big bolts
It doesn't sound like you're getting signal to it? Would need to start with key switch and work your way to the solenoid? With volt meter. Can call us for trouble shoot. 276.632.8905
@@cartsmarttv I checked voltages earlier and I was getting 42 volts every where and it’s a 36v cart, I always noticed there is constant power to my reverse and forward switch even when i switch it to off
Do you hear a click in the floor board when you touch the gas pedal? Your ITS has to send signal to the solenoid.
This shows your ITS kzread.info/dash/bejne/YpqCpqOfcbLKg7Q.htmlsi=l24zuU5uguL8865R
@@cartsmarttv ok thank you, just wondering when I can call?
Thanks, time moves forward 😊
We have 2003 Ezgo all new batteries. Goes fine on flat area, going up incline stops. It’s not controller.
Assuming you roll back down? Does it click and go on again?
Nice Job! working from the floor always makes everything more difficult, I’ve been doing it for 35 years and as I age it becomes more difficult, keep up the good work .Danville Golf Cart Service
What about a CC Tempo Li-Ion? Do I have to remove the lithium pack to access the controller?
We've yet to have one in our shop to see but, just follow your positive wire coming off the batteries and it will be going to the controller.
Very helpful video thanks! Saved to my playlist for helpful tips when I convert my cart! Subscribed too!

How to adjust the valves
When I look for voltage on all F/R posts. I don’t get it. Only on bottom. Do I need to have in forward? Gas pedal pushed? Or all should have pack voltage also? Also I have the resistor on the big posts of the solenoid. Won’t that show voltage on B- and B+ even when you hit the gas?
@@matthejl8 you should have voltage on all 4 lugs of F&R, yes to the Resistor.
@@cartsmarttv only voltage on one, but in all other appropriate areas…means prob bad FR switch?
Are there any other differences in the lifts? I have an old style cart and found a cheap new style lift?

Hi dear!!! Hope you are well. You already have a 2.95K subscriber which is a huge number. Your video-making is very good. Your content ideas are excellent. But I am researching your channel and was shocked to see that your every video has lower audience engagement and reach also much lower. If you permit me, I will share some information to increase your channel. Then you get lots of subs, views, and a larger audience reach organically daily. Waiting for your valuable response, Thank you.
With any electro-mechanical product, service will be eventually required. Electronic components breakdown, mechanics will require adjustments and replacement. You guys are technical artists! Great contribution to the LSV movement. I hope that you guys get an Evolution D5 Ranger in the shop soon.
When I do the high amp circuitry test I'm getting 23.7 then I press the pedal I get battery pack voltage. So is the controller bad?
Are you getting battery voltage from the M-?
@@cartsmarttv yes when I press the pedal. With just my lead on m it should read 0 right? Mine is reading 23.7
I wish you could have videoed the noise it was making. Still…good video. Thanks.
Lowes should be called Bed Bath and Plywood. I don't trust anything they sell.
AXIS EV seems less risky to buy vs. EVOLUTION LSV. Good comparison video.
Excellent video, my starter/gen is acting the same way, going to do this same test, thank you for the video.😊
Nice work!
How does it close up though.
@mechanicallycreative9788 they all work with centrifugal force meaning the faster they turn they open or close. We have seen running problems with the cart causing the clutches not to work right.
Would it be a good idea to rebuild the other side while you are at it?
@markgotschall2914 this yes, would be the time to do it.
Hi Jason. I have stripped the harness back to the wall of the body and have found no diode. Do I need to remove the body trim some how? I am new to club car so can you give me more details on the location of the diode? Mine is a 2014 Precedent gas
We found this one right at the body and floor board. You'll see the track the harness sits in under the floor mat.
