    How long is best Aged for Culinary use? I've been making a lot of food from Hong Kong and it's as essential for the food as Greek Oregano is for Greek food

  • @AmazingKitchen
    @AmazingKitchen25 күн бұрын

    @@EpicvidsKetti08 can be used immediately once dried. The quality is based on the raw materials and proper store. The highest quality mandarin peel must be sourced from a small town in China with a small supply. Once dried and store correctly it can be kept for over 50 years. The more aged, the pricier and better the flavour. I will recommend at least 10 years old Mandarin Peel for producing a quality dish. Interesting to know is also used in Greek cuisines. Thanks for sharing.

    “Every household owns one.” Literally never met anyone who owns one. I only met about 3 people who even bake. Given half of the world’s households don’t even have electricity, I’d say it’s more likely that about one household in 10,000 owns one.

    What? 1 mandarin contains 80 % of you daily nutrition??? Of what?!?!?! This make no sense!

  • @AmazingKitchen
    @AmazingKitchen4 ай бұрын

    Hi @marshameyer788, mandarin peel can contain about 89mg/100g of vitamin C and the average daily intake of vitamin C for an adult is in the range of 75-90mg per day. Depending on the size of the peel, it may meet the daily vitamin C intake of a typical adult. Apologize if I was not very clear on my explanation. Hope this makes sense. Thanks

    Hello everyone. I love your review. I was very happy that my husband bought me an KA Artisan 5KSM175PSEAC. After two months, i realised that there are not existing the carbon brush access right and left. I have already read somewhere that the newest models they don't have easy access to carbon brushes. So, my question is, that was a bad purchase? What if it need to replace the carbon brushes? There is no way? It costs 600 euros, extremely expensive , we live in Greece, but I wanted it so much, as I thought what was easy to fix, repair ech and because it supposed to last for years, investment like... Starting to regret... In the last trip to USA for the Christmas holidays, I saw the Classic in the Walmart for 295$, Shock... We already had spent so much for a machine that maybe is too complicated. Please help

  • @AmazingKitchen
    @AmazingKitchen7 ай бұрын

    Hi @anavarna, thanks for reaching out. Based on your model given there should be a black plastic on either the left or right that you can remove to replace the carbon brushes. But in the event that you don't then you may have to remove the entire metal housing to access the carbon brush. Honestly, I had mine for many years already and make bread regularly, you should not need to replace your carbon brushes anytime soon, so not to worry too much about it. Enjoy using the mixer to create your recipes and don't overload it then you should be fine for a very long time. Hope that helps :)

    Since I make a lot of bread I have chosen the 5KSM7580X in Onyx Black. Well I got a great offer so the colour was not a real choice ;). It is a beast. Do not be fooled by the "measly" 500W motor. It got a kick and does even big batches of yeast dough. I hope it will last me some time as the warranty is a nice 5 years.

    I very nice recipe, can we use this in oven grill instead of deep fry? Thanks

  • @AmazingKitchen
    @AmazingKitchen11 ай бұрын

    Yes you can @sksim1908! Using the oven grill, the chicken will not be as crispy as the deep-fry method unless you precook the chicken to 70-80% before using the oven to crisp the skin. During the cooking process, liquids will come out of the chicken causing it to be less crispy due to the fact that the heat in an oven is not as efficient as the hot oil. The best I can recommend is that you elevate the chicken off the oven pan and allow the excess liquids to drip to the bottom so the chicken is not soaked in the juice. Hope that helps :-)

    Does your mixer wobble while mixing the dough? I've recently got one, but the loud noise of motor head swinging in all directions made me return it.

  • @AmazingKitchen
    @AmazingKitchen Жыл бұрын

    Hi bobsimple8291. My mixer does wobble slightly when using the new dough hook but that is only due to the tilt head adjustment not the hook itself. The wobble can be resolved with a turn of a screw but then it will be off when using the paddle and whisk, in my case the wobble was very slight so I left it. I made a video in the past showing how to adjust the tilt head and wobbling of the mixer. I have attached the video link in the description below, you may refer to it and see if it helps.
